I really think you are missing the whole point --- regardless of how many shops people do a day, Tesco claim to be the cheapest. If they were this wouldnt be happening. When they are the cheapest people will stop doing multiple shops because there will be no point. If Tesco pull the offer I for one wil be shopping at ASDA because this has proved that ASDA ARE cheaper!!
Much as I agree with others about the sermonising, I have to say that ASDa is not cheaper for everyone. I know that in a normal shop for me tesco comes out cheaper. ASDA are great at getting people to believe they are the cheapest. There are only 2 adults in our household so that might make a difference.
And I just hope at the end of this promotion we dont have all those who have greatly gained mouthing off about tesco.
I think what this has taught me is that I should research my shop more and use both tesco and asda- but not sure if I will be bothered as all this research now is so exhausting:rotfl:

    To the spreadsheet updaters

The 6 PACK WHITE FINGER ROLLS did not return a DTD from yesterdays shopping. I bought 2 packs but as it's a multibuy I guess that's why. If others have had the same problem, please strikethrough on the spreadsheet.

    Same for me!!!!

I used one of the shops to buy a litre of Bacardi - will report back tomorrow if it works. Mind you, the SA did give me a strange look as that was the only item I bought - I wondered if she thought I was a closet alcoholic - surprised she didn't wrap it in a brown paper bag for me!

Yeah i thin,k i got one of those looks today too:rotfl::rotfl:
  • Quick question for those in the know:

Just handed the delivery driver my DTD for £18 something. However, because an item wasn't in stock the actual bill came to £16, which plus service came to £19. Should this be OK, the T&Cs say nothing about service excluded?

I would like to say thanks to all of you for your hard work updating the spreadsheets and posting your 'finds'. Keep up the good work!

Also, I read earlier that someone had a link for the 'shoebox' scheme where you can send some of your DTD toiletries etc over to service people.
I cannot seem to find it now so would be grateful if you could re post as I would like to take part.

    p.s criminals my ***!!!!!!!!
