If you think about it though - If I went to Tesco to do my normal shop and did the price check and noticed that a number of items were much cheaper at Asda, I would be stupid not to buy those again. If it's something I use often, I would also be stupid not to stock up on those items as I have no way of knowing how long this promotion will last.
We are doing nothing criminally wrong or even morally wrong. In the 2009/2010 financial year Tesco made pre tax profits of £3.4 billion . To make that much money, they are certainly fleecing us, not the other way around.0 -

Just handed the delivery driver my DTD for £18 something. However, because an item wasn't in stock the actual bill came to £16, which plus service came to £19. Should this be OK, the T&Cs say nothing about service excluded?
I was just told that I couldn't redeem a £20 voucher as my total came to £19.97 (I hadn't realised that the COMFORT EXHILARATIONS STRAWBERRY 750ML is now £2.15 and not £2.23 as was). I had to go grab something cheap to bump it over - some 49p Tesco pasta n sauce type thing (hope it's dearer in Asda!)0 -

If I'd said that I'd rightly be called a sad old fart, but since it was you, how about you cheer up a bit?

FIL had a problem today but it was nothing to do with him, it was a Supervisor who wanted to take him to the office and she was waving his DTD voucher and asking him where did he get a £20 voucher, so the duty manager walked over after hearing her shouting and he said no problem just scan the voucher and put it in the till.
But that means he's paying £10 for a £30 bottle of brandy
so what he says it's a promo,
where is his asda receipt
he dont need one
how do we know it was cheaper in asda
they enter the numbers on line, on our website
i never heard of it, so where's his asda receipt
he dont need one, just go and scan his receipt at the till, your the supervisor and you dont know what promo's are running.. so i guess you have not told your staff
she stand's there like a fool (FIL words)
go tell them now and i dont wont you bringing them to me every time a customer presents one.
He said sorry about that to the FIL and gave him a £10 gift card for the bother
There are some good people in Mr T's Family (wish i'd been there)
I've been to my three T's and no beef, has it been cleared by us or them :think:0
