And your point is???0 -
berbastrike wrote: »Doing multiple shops is abusing the offer and is greedy. When I do my next shop at Tesco, I am probably going to pay 30% of the cost I would pay with no DTD scheme. I am not really using the offer as it was designed because I'm a MSE and I am taking advantage of the differences. But I will stick to the limits, Tesco have created, because I play to the rules.
Let's stop paying any attention, it'll go away.
For the record though I am holier than all of you AND my dad is bigger than yours! So there!!!!
Back to the important stuff.....I'm compiling my shopping list for tonight.....what's my must have item lol!! Answers on a postcard please....0 -
I went to my local today to be told that from now on people using price check vouchers have to go to CS, and that a message was sent from HO today. Off I went and CS told me the guy was talking rubbish and that wasn't the case. I rang customer service and spoke to a lovely lady who was chatting away whilst waiting to double check the rules with her manager - her manager confirmed that this is now the case as people are abusing the system.
So, true fact!? Or Tescoism!? Anyone else been told this today?0 -
I can't believe that any sane student is attending lectures right now.0

What I don't understand, is the risk people are creating by doing up to 15 shops per day. Why not just stick to the rules and stop being greedy. With this way, the price check may actually become permanent.
Err..... "Why not just stick to the rules and stop being greedy"
That could and should be said about Tescos !!!
And I presume your shopping basket is looking just as it ever did or might i be right in assuming selected items are being put through in small shops rather than a full weekly shop. :rotfl:And you like all of us have always eaten finest Lamb, brushed with Arm and Hammer with a kiddie toothbrush and bathed in Lynx.
Go get some Wolf Creek and chillax :beer:0 -
To the spreadsheet updaters
The 6 PACK WHITE FINGER ROLLS did not return a DTD from yesterdays shopping. I bought 2 packs but as it's a multibuy I guess that's why. If others have had the same problem, please strikethrough on the spreadsheet.0 -
OMG! Just got back from my first DTD shop of the day for some beef and olive oil cost 20.02 paid with £20 voucher.
Lovely SA says be good if we could all do that, to which I say you can do it to and still get your staff discount.
she then says "no, there stopping this promotion today we have just been told his morning that we can still honour ones that have been issued but no more will be given":eek::eek::eek::eek:

They can pull the offer at any point. I'm sure a few people shopping for their extended family won't really matter.
Not as many people are taking advantage of this offer as you think. If Tesco were losing that much money then I'm sure they would have already scrapped it.
Make the most of it while you can is what I say.
No point in you trying to play the saint.... you can't stop us die-hard, DTD criminals.:rotfl:My daughters are my world0
