Yes, I'm not motivated by greed but I do like a great offer and will not risk it being taken away.

Well that is really good and honest of you but I think -bar the newbies- you are fighting a lone battle to keep the cause going I am afraid.

There will be people reading this who do not post who will be doing multiple shops each day.

I am far from motivated by greed either and I do not think any of the posters are on here either. I have a large family and I would spend over £150 a week in Tesco, now I am splitting my shop's and getting something back.

If I was walking into Tesco and filling my trolley to the hilt and walking out the door without paying then I am indeed a criminal but because I am using a policy that is in black and white from Tesco please do not call me a criminal.

    Thank you :)

And Mr T is a saint right ? Selling a toothbrush for kids at £10 when other stores are selling it at Just £2 and still making a proffit too.

    Criminals..............have a day off !

Mr T have been very generous in offering this DTD offer. Ok, they make billions a year, but all companies are like this. I actually think Tesco are a very reasonable company.

What I don't understand, is the risk people are creating by doing up to 15 shops per day. Why not just stick to the rules and stop being greedy. With this way, the price check may actually become permanent.

What really surprises me is that, except for us savvy money savers on here, you mention it to others, and they look at you as if you have 2 heads.

    'Can't be arsed'
    'Too much hassle'
    'Cheaper in Home Bargains'
    'Don't like Tesco'

Well I'm sorry but this will and has saved me megga bucks - and our cupboards are well stocked. Why are people so silly when it comes to money?

I mentioned it to my mum, she said it sounds like that Bernie Madoff pyramid scheme. " You put £20 pounds in, and everyday £20 pounds of shopping comes out...." Now she wants nothing to do with it. lol

she loves the Almond Magnums and Betty Crocker though. :rotfl:
  • how comes your eggs were DTD????
most peeps on here had theirs matched today

They werent sorry folks, put it down wrong, wishful thinking on my part!! Have ammended!!:(

They are abusing this offer with their greed and soon the price checker will be finished.

To the person calling everyone a criminal-i suggest last this site is probably not for you. You do not obviously mind Mr T ripping you off-therefore a moneysaving site is wasted on you!!!
  • I decided that I needed to get a bit of fresh air today after being ill for the last 3 days, so ventured out to the Tescos where my son had the problem last night with the SAs who all told him that the store was no longer accepting DTD vouchers due to(others) fraudulent use.
(His voucher was eventually accepted, but the whole experience has put him off DTD for life I think!)

Anyway, I'm pleased to report that I had no problems whatsoever! I did 2 separate shops and used 2 vouchers and both the SAs (who were middle-aged, like myself!) were very pleasant and no mention of any store policy of not accepting the vouchers anymore.

I used one of the shops to buy a litre of Bacardi - will report back tomorrow if it works. Mind you, the SA did give me a strange look as that was the only item I bought - I wondered if she thought I was a closet alcoholic - surprised she didn't wrap it in a brown paper bag for me!
