    Evening all

Today at work flew by! Work kids had mock job interviews with one of our volunteers, they all did fab :D I sent them home early as I needed to do a bit of paperwork and go to shops to get one of them a birthday cake for tomorrow.

As I was going to Tesco for the cake I decided I might as well do my storecupboard shop that I've been putting off for ages, so I'm all stocked up now :)

OS wise - DW been on and emptied, shopping all put away.

Really should do some uni work today but CBA'd!

    Have a good evening all

    Eventful evening,

DH car wouldn't start when I came out of my friends, luckily my car had passed the MOT but they couldn't do the breaks so they still need to be done. So DH had to come up and get his car started and we have just got back:mad: bloomin cars I am sure life would be easier without them

Anyway had my stir fry and off for a long hot back to relieve my tummy ache. At least I am mobile again but just need to find a garage/mechanic we can rely on, its like trying to plait sand:cool:

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good day - despite OHs

I just wanted to wave and say thanks to Sunshine Bear if he is about. I have been playing with bread dough and it is slowly getting better. I have run out of flour now though, and it is still a bit leaden despite overnight rise, etc.

DC3 is not well. He has coughed up his dinner but did eat his icecream and honey. He has a temperature again and has a nose with the tap turned permanently on and the cough is hacking. He's been dosed up and has gone to bed, willingly, so I know he is ill.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening, I am off to sort out my email inbox.

TF - I would be wary of meeting your OH to view the car, may never get away again!!
Candy - Hope all goes well with DD and enjoy seeing Boo.

Washing dried on the line when the rain stopped, definitely having April showers here! Had visitors this afternoon, then swimming with DD. Changed my membership to swimming only as council removed the discount for employees and would pay £38 per month. Seeing as I never use the gym (just don't get it) I am now paying £16 per month for unlimited swimming. Seeing as it costs £2.60 each visit it should be a saving (but only if I go regularly!). Friend called for an hour or so and had a good chat about DS1 and GF situation - she's a good listener.

Cleaned all the windows inside and all the mirrors and pictures, had chicken and veg for tea followed by the last of DS2s Baileys cheesecake, yummy!

Hope you all have a good evening. Take care XX

Hello all! My has it been a long time! OH and I are just back from a little mini break to the family holiday home in devon. I want to move there.

Not much OS going on at all recently...but i'm motivated once more and want to stop spending every evening in the pub! so tackled the kitchen today, might do the bathroom later.

Got my tax code sorted and will be due a rebate..when who knows!

Worried about my job...we're having an office meeting on Wednesday and everyone's been talking in hushed voices and i've not been included....so this does not make me feel great about whats going to happen....I like my job and don't want to have to job hunt again if i can help it!

Lunch today was bulgar wheat salad and dinner was beef in black bean sauce.

Trying to meal plan for the rest of the week and come up with an exciting lunch for tomorrow too!!

Donny-gal - where are you going in North Norfolk? We're away in Norfolk this weekend too!

We are just outside Spalding for the weekend, and then just outside Kings Lynn for the rest of the fortnight.

    What about you?

    Evening Donny-gal

Oh my word, I live in Wisbech which is only 10 miles from Kings Lynn, where are staying there? Spalding is further away going inland, my mum's family come from that way and one of her sister's and her family still live there! What a small world we live in! Have you been to Kings Lynn before? Sandringham and the Norfolk coast is lovely for a walk or if the weather is not so good just a drive along the coast road from Old Hunstanton to Wells etc.

Do you rally with a club? we're involved with the Caravan Club, love being able to get away.

    Kind regards
