  • Hello everybody

and Happy Birthday to Mr Bitsy and Miss Mummysaver

Well it's chucking it down here but on a good note I did nip out first thing and the lupins and delphiniums I planted are still intact with no sign of slug attack... OH has just mailed to say his sandwiches are fab and I have made an apt to take one of my budgies to the avian vet AKA the place that costs and arm and a leg....:( So much for "no spend week" :rotfl: He's got another feather cyst where he had the last one about this time last year and I know some budgie owners see to them themselves but I'd rather he saw a vet...Acupuncture later on and just been doing some admin - no work in my in tray yet....:(

Right let's go and see if anything has arrived....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

HappyBirthday to Mr Bitsy and Miss Moneysaver

Camelot- hope the situation with DS and GF resolves soon,we are treading on egg shells too with DS2s ex,but communication has been restored after 2 weeks silence, though only by text,DS even got a kiss on the end of his (I got 2 :D)Hugs.
Candy- glad you are going to see Boo :)

Anyone on Easter holidays have a good time.
I put some washing out this morning-the first of the year,as since the trees being trimmed it is sunnier in the back-then it started chucking it down and hasnt stopped since.I'm not going out till it stops, but they'll need spinning again  It was so lovely yesterday too,we had another barbecue when we got home, and sat out till the sun went down.
We will have the reduced leg of lamb tonight as it needs cooking.I think there are some new pots left.

We are going to Wembley with our footie team next Sunday, and have just been looking at parking prices ,nearly £28 for a car.My ex SisIL is driving us down, and we are going to take our own grub,as I heard that that is extortionate prices too.Might look at renting someones drive for the afternoon.

Better get some lunch now and crack on.Take care all x

  • Afternoon All

Went to town this morning on my own while I still can use the pavement 3 weeks is going to really drag.
Had my mug shot done for blue badge :eek:OMG they are not very flattering but needs must, and maybe it might scare one of the petty little hitlers who think they are doing you a personal favour if they issue you with one. Honestly I get full mobility which means I am automatically entitled to a badge but the council want to know the ins and outs of my illnesses as well which makes me fume.

Treated myself to some new undies and bought a birthday pressie for DS. I also bought the Disney version of Frog princess

Happy birthday Mr Bitsy and Ms Moneysaver hope you both enjoy your day x _party_

jackieG sounds like OH needs a nice weekend of pampering ;)

Well I had better check the washing
    BFN x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
