I hate clipping the guinea pig's claws, I have to get mr tru to do it

But the feathers were OK, though if there weren't shorter feathers above them to use as a guide (IYSWIM) then he'd have to do that too. I actually feel really mean doing it, it doesn't seem right somehow :undecided Bulletproof0 -
I know what you mean, but if it keeps them safe, then that's in their best interests, surely? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Morning Troops

DC3 is snotty as hell and has no voice and is coughing like a good 'un but his temperature has gone, thankfully.
DH and DC1 have gone with Dad to look at cars. The 2 littlies and I are eating breakfast and watching Blues Clues and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. Then they will go and play in the bath while I have a quick shower. Then I bet they go and play in their room again. We woke this morning to them playing happily with a rail track they had built, guess they are enjoying have a clear floor. I just need to finish off in there under the bed and shelves.
Need to empty and fill the DW and sort and fold clothes from the airers and hang a load out and put another in the WM.
Might take them for a walk this afternoon if it doesn;t rain, it is very grey and overcast here.
Happy Birthday Mr Beans and Mummysavers DD. Hope you both have good days.
Will probably be doing Pork Yuk Sung for dinner.

Morning all,
Another beautiful day here :T have got a wash on, and will get it on the line today. Might shove some towels in after.
Can hear movement from dd upstairs, she started with a sore throat and cold yesterday, so will leave her for a while, she has not long got over a cold, I think the exam stress may be getting to her. DD and I are off on a bike ride today (as long as she is ok) so I will pack some egg mayonaise sandwiches and a flast of tea and off we will go :T. We had our Picnic dinner at the beach last night, which was lovely, although it did turn a bit chilly towards the end.
Dinner tonight is meant to be roast chicken, but will what the weather does, might do something else with the chicken.
Need to hoover through, and do an online shop, and then we are off.

Morning! :hello:
i have a load of DS's old teeshirts in the WM, they are ones he now just uses to sleep in or for messing about, and they had been in his laundry bin for ages so I decided Mum would get them sorted
I finished sorting through my wardrobe y'day, and have 2 big bags for CS. I don't seem to have many clothes left, but there was no point hanging on to stuff I'm unllikely ever to wear again, and hopefully it will mean some other people will get a good bargain. And I think I have enough clothes, so that's ok. Will see if I can manage to get a couple of tops though. I saw some I liked in M&S at Bluewater the other week, but won't suggest going over there today as DH spent far too long cutting grass and weeding y'day so he will be very stiff today. He plans to stay in all day and write his OU assignment!
Had something new for dinner last night. I had some yellow-stickered pork chops in the freezer that needed using, so cooked them in cider with onion, garlic and apples. It was adapted from a Deli@ recipe and I didn't have the "right" type of apples, but Royal Gala weren't too bad
and it also used up the last of the cider we brought back from Brittany about 4 years ago so was OS as well
Happy Birthday to Bitsy's OH and Miss Mummysaver
Have good days all, and (((HUGS))) to everyone in need of some.0 -
Boys are having fun in the bath. Though they decided to go and get a load of Peppa Pig toys and put them in the bath  So I had to fish them out and they are draining in the sink, will put them in the airing cupboard and hope that the mehanics still work.
DH has phoned and the Saab is out, as is the Vectra that we liked at the same garage. He has tried a couple of others and is now test driving a Fiat Stilo.
Have done the washing and am going to tackle the DW in a minute.
Cloud has cleared a bit and we have a bit of sun coming through :TBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hi everyone,
Had a lovely weekend. DD was home. She actually officially moved back 12 days ago and since then has spent 3 nights at home. I don't really mind, I just wish all her clutter was put away.
Must go and get on with the kitchen, see you later.0 -
