Out of these 3 - which would people reccommend or are they good in their own right.
Swallow falls
Conway falls
Fairy Glen
Which of these do you reckon has the best fall and good sorrounding? As we have sunny whether (where we are anyway) - Will any of these be effected?
Whats whether been like last few days and today? as hot here0 -

These are all within a couple of miles of each other so you could aim to visit all three. The most popular one is probably Swallow Falls which is closest to the village of Betws-y-Coed. It's likely they won't be at their most spectacular as the weather has been pretty dry recently and all the snow on the mountains has been long gone but still worth a visit. If you're staying in Caernarfon they to get to Betws-y-Coed you'll travel via Llanberis and the Llanberis Pass. This takes you right through the heart of Snowdonia and is one of the most spectacular roads you'll ever drive so if the Falls don't wow then the drive over should.
The weather where I am (Colwyn Bay) is slightly overcast now, it was sunny earlier on. According to the BBC Wales weather forecast this morning it should get hotter and sunnier as the week goes on.The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

I am back in Caernarfon until later tonight weather has been great here all day & was in Llandudno earlier and its great to see the kids sitting down infront of Punch & Judy Show " memories "weather was very good although cloudy as we left about 3-30. Tommorrow who knows ????? mini climate here. IMHO if your going to Betws-y-coed(from Caernarfon) head out on the A4085 Beddgelert road turn on to Betws-y-coed and enjoy the drive and come back on the A4086 Llanberis Rd up Penny Pass the drops seem bigger and mountains higher.Give Beddgelert a few hours too . Great gifts and crafts as is Betws-y-coed.enjoy:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
