soappie - I'd go for C,D and E.
I wouldn't admit to A - but they probably know that already......:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Hex, thank you so much for taking the time to input to the poll xxxxx :iloveyou:
A and B, and to a lesser extent, C and D were thrown in as Truth statements which I'd NEVER put down on an application form!Think back to the feedback as to why you were second last time and try and addresss and issues, ask for a copy of the interview notes maybe?
I would NEVER ask for a copy of interview notes - that's the best way to !!!! this particular organisation off and ensure I'd never get a job in another department again!
When I applied for this particular type of role before (and there's more than one in that department) it was open to external candidates too. The reason I was given for the close second was that the person chosen over me had more relevant experience - and they were recruited from outside the organisation. So I'm (probably kidding myself!) in with a better chance this time..hex2 wrote:ETA2 - also if you do go down the want to develop further route give some thought to what you have done to add value to the current role - saved money/reformed processes/negotiated change/developed phenomenal skills at minesweeper if you are anything like me
ROFL - long and hard.....have had NO opportunity to add value, save money, reform processes, negotiate change - apart from organising a reshuffle of the office furniture (with the sanction of the boss) which resulted in a VERY frosty atmosphere and the convening of a team meeting by the boss in order to gain acceptance from the others that it was the Right Way Ahead....
Minesweeper? Never tried that - but my book is almost ready to publish!
ETA - the saving money bit..... I do have a plan in my head but daren't express it - if they just hired competent people in certain roles, they could cut the head count by half - saving quite a bit ...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all,
Over cast here, looks like rain.
Not done too much this morning except basic dailies
Seem to have a cement mixer outside on my front lawn, not too sure what it is doing there or when it arrived, I am sure it was not there last night when I went to bed, there is no sign of any builders out in the road, but I know next door are about to have work done, so may be it is something to do with them~~If it is still there at lunctime, I will go about and ask.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

up early cos DS had to go to work and gas mains piping being replaced - there is virtually no pavement left - it's all holes!
So today is our turn - they are coming to turn off the gas in 15 mins - only yesterday did they tell me that they will have to dig up some of my driveway!
I have to stay in in case there are any problems........but it looks like the outlook is noisy....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
