Morning messies! Wow fuddle well done! I am still in CBA mode, but feeling very twitchy about the mess upstairs now, so may start clearing a bit of clutter - I would normally wait for a burst of motivation and then blitz it but I don't have that motivation, sadly. Will take some bin liners upstairs and start filling them bit by bit.

It isn't raining! Hooray! I am getting some washing done and also doing a bit of my crochet rag rug. I might either go for a walk or do some gardening later... kitchen needs doing as well but I've just done the washing up for now.

Have a lovely bank holiday messies, wherever you are and whatever you're doing!

ETA: Brilliant Laurel! You've just done what I have been needing to do for about 10 years... my boxroom should be a useable space but it's like one of the TV hoarder's rooms at the moment. Well done you!

    Afternoon Messies.

Very well done, laurel, fuddle, wilf and Mcculloch (sounds like a solicitors! :rotfl:). So good to have so much more space after clearing up, laurel. Mind you, it was a pretty major clear and clean up, wasn't it? :T

Yuk, MM. Don't you just hate getting up to find animal sick spread liberally around the house? :( It's so much worse than any other time of the day, I find.

OH has just hung up our new bathroom cabinet. It's pretty flash and very heavy, and needed substantial (supplied) hooks and fastenings) Looks good, though, and will look even better once I've cleaned all the dust and finger marks off the mirror. First, I'm off to have a shower, though, as we're going to a Jubilee do at a friend's later. Wish the sun would show itself, but I guess we're very blessed not to have rain.

Forgot to give you my sympathies earlier MM - if my cat leaves anything untoward lying around, I usually find it by stepping in it. Bleaurgh.

Messy update... nothing done! I'm being lazy, I know. I don't care :D

Blimey o Reilly, you lot are putting the flyers to shame! Unfortunately I didn't have to get up to it, the *dear* thing was sick on our bed, me, then after being taken downstairs, the sofa. Guh. But it's all cleaned up now :)

Done the household stuff, sorted out a pork, leek and apple casserole for OH for later, just bimbling in and out of the garden doing weeding, planting etc. Found a teensy rose and bud when I hauled out some creeping weeds, so quite pleased there. Dog is very relaxed now so hopefully he's ok.

Forgot to click post on this so I can add that I've been bitten by ants sorting out the big weed patch by the front door. Well. I think it was weeds. Welllll even if there were some proper plants in there I didn't like them so they're gone now!

JPS- I'm the same, I'm such a magnet for it!

I know there's been a fair bit of tidying/decluttering today but I'm well and truelly in CBA mode now.

I've still got piles of washing to do but they can go tittle.. it's a holiday weekend

That's better fuddle, enough of that flylady stuff!

There's no point to cleaning and tidying if you don't sit back and admire it!

I'm making coffee in a minute, and you know what... I might just make some very naughty biccies as well if I feel like it in a bit :D

Eeek! I've had a sudden burst of motivation and:

Got the washing in and folded (not put away as I haven't anywhere to put it until I sort out the spare room and boxroom!)

    Cleaned the cat tray

Pulled my pants up to Simon Cowell level and taken a deep breath... and... I'm off to clean the main bedroom!!
