My home is a mess

Hi everbody. Iv not read all the posts but I will try. Cat some people think its their right to take anything they like without a thought for anyone else. Hope it sorted out for your son soon.

Iv done very little over the last week as my motivation has been zilch. Hopefully I can shake myself out of the rut.

We have filled in a foster form for a rescue so hoping that we get a dog soon. Having to walk him or her should shake the cobwebs. The dogs we were going to adopt fell through. The first the owner could not part with and the second due to a concern over its breed.

thanks bearcub, im ok, was just nervous, havent been to the drs in over a year, and in the past year my mum and best friend have been diagnosed with serious conditions so yeah ... was worried

i have to go to hospital tommorow for a xray and blood tests ill be ok ....


well ive done nothing ... but place doesnt look too bad, got one or two dishes may do them tonight and shove a few bits in the machine

Freezing? Maybe you had the worst of the winds your side. It was chilly here, but I wouldn't have said freezing. That's forecast for the weekend - sleet, too. Real winter!

Snookey, how exciting to be getting some dogs! I hope it all goes smoothly for you this time. We adopted a pony last summer, as a companion for our dopey horse, through a local charity. We don't actually own him but have him on permanent loan. The charity knew very little about his background, but we fell for him at first sight, and he .... well, let's say he recognised a couple of suckers! :rotfl: All things considered, it all turned out very well.

Well no list of things to do and nothing done!! Hubby has got proper man flu...he really is a poorly chap and Im panicking as I am having my operation on my wrist on Weds next.As much as Im not looking forward to it Im all ready for it now iykwim and I dont want to get his cold and it to be postponed.
He is in bed in the spare room and Im in our tip/bedroom with as much Vicks first defence as possible up my nose!!
Hope everyone is ok and hugs to you Cat.....your DS is lucky to have you.

WM emptied and on line, load 2 is now on. There is about 6 to do today :eek:

Kitchen swished and wiped - oh no that is flylady speak! Please, quick, someone pull me back to Messy Land :rotfl:

Hall hoovered and decluttered.

Bedrooms x 4 to be done - then there will be more wash loads :eek::eek:
Bathrooms x 2 to be done

Chilli to make for dinner. I knew I should have done this last night, I prefer day old chilli :mad:

Ebaying to do
