Good luck! It'll come right eventually, buffy. Ofsted is just awful - went through it 3 times in my time at a secondary school. Everyone was on edge, and I was just a science techie!
Laurel, if you thought the school was awful, then getting the job wouldn't have given you much satisfaction. And, if it did, how long would the satisfaction have lasted once you started working there? Just try hard to hide your disappointment, huh?
Cat, I'm sorry, it was selfish of me to mention my friend, without saying anything about what you've been through. Thank you for your comment. Re the stars, I think I've cracked it short term, anyway - used glue dots.

Hello
Not done too much today, OH and I just whizzed round the kitchen and got the dishwasher done and the bins put out. Now relaxing with a cuppa and SW magazine.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Oooh, Buffy...at least it will soon be over? xx
The lack of notice you get these days is horrid...but I'm sure it beats the old system where you had weeks to stress...import this0 -
Soupdragon - glad the kitten-move wasn`t too traumatic.
Cat - glad the `FlyMessies` made you chuckle. (Hugs) again. Can`t have too many hugs, IMHO.
WifeFF - glad to hear from you.
MessyMare - Sorry you`ve been feeling down, but glad to hear from you anyway. (Hugs) & solidarity - I know that duvet call too!
Laurel - sounds like you had a lucky escape there! You want a Job, not a punishment, right?
Buffy, you may not read this before the Ordeal, but wishing you luck with it anyway!0 -

Some of you Messies have been busy folks in the last few pages. Don`t worry, my Messy status report will keep the balance here!
I`ve been out since 7am, got home 9.30. (Actually had a BRILLIANT day at work, SO busy the hours just flew, but was feeling rested and efficient so I didn`t feel they were flying past me, sort of thing!)
Arrived home to -
Messy hall/messy kitchen & Very Messy LR, smelling of cheesy old Daftie-dog, cat asleep on the dresser looking so relaxed it was like she`d been filleted, EXACTLY how she was when I left this am. Would have checked she was still alive but she instantly `welcomed` me by clawing at my legs with her loudest `feed me NOW` noise, trying to imply that she hadn`t been fed since I fed her at 6.30 am. Evidence to the contrary found in kitchen - 4 empty pouches on draining board, (with several used teabags, and some eggshells, and some burnt toast) so presumably DS couldn`t find the bin again!!! Fine, so neither DS nor the cat starved today in my absence.
Checked the fridge while I was in there waiting for kettle to boil. No evidence of Lurking smell that I dealt with (Liquid Soda Crystals, a quid a bottle - wonderful stuff that! Checked that OH had evidently found his `snappins` I left there this morning for him, and gone off to nightshift a good hour before I finished work. I DID wonder about leaving the crisps in fridge, but if I`d not left them WITH his packed meal he probably wouldn`t have realised they were part of it, and he HAS taken them, so I was right to put them in fridge. (You think I`m kidding? No, honestly, I know what he`s like...)
Upstairs? Don`t go there. I haven`t.0 -
Well roots done, another 4 bits of ironing out of 200 now that Ds has got his own to do,sorted out the tiniest bit of carp in my tip/bedroom and put a wash on!! Looked at the bathroom and thought yuck and walked out again!!At this rate house will be presentable about 2015!!0

The list hasn't gotten any longer except put away some ironing (note its been days since I ironed!) I did enjoy my aqua zumba class, it's my third week, not noticed any different and probably won't but at least I'm doing some exercise. Snow on its way up here tomorrow, I hope it stays away from Fife, I have errands to run tomorrow.I love MSE freebies and comps. Thanks posters0

well morning Gals, Emm you should write for a living (or maybe you do) but that post was so funny!
I got up early to have a quiet cup of tea to myself, sadly everyone followed me up! (OH NEVER gets up before 8, whats going on) And there were about 5 mice hiding under the slow cooker. Nearly caught one, but I lost the plot when his mates popped out.
OH now going on about how we have a captive ecosystem (yes thats the sort of language he uses) I think generally he is P**sed and confused...0
