Paddypaws - thanks for the recipe. Guess what we'll be having for dinner on Saturday (assuming I can find a suitable dish to bake in in the microwave!)

MessyMare - good luck with the interview. got everything crossed for you.

Don't seem to have any motivation at the moment. Good thing that OH is now up to washing up and pushing a hoover round the place because otherwise it would descend into true squalor with the extent of my CBA-ness!

    Morning Messies

Having a bit of a CBA morning, although it is a beautiful day here in MK. I probably should follow gilly1964's good example and get some washing out on the line

Need to get some petrol as I've been running on fumes for almost a week, think I'll drop off the two bags of 'stuff' at the charity shop whilst I'm out and then start a new bag when I get back

Better get off my behind and tidy the kitchen first and get the beef stew for dinner out of the freezer.
    see you later

OMG - stop it you two - now lol

Here in my part of sunny MK I've been ironing - trying to make space to get more washing done and dried, wish I could get into a routine with the washing btu as normal its all or nothing here

Phoned DD's school and got it all sorted, thank goodness, and they will be chatting to her today to see if she wants to continue with this special lesson or not. About time some schools realised that communication works 2 ways. Brilliant school in some parts and pants in others - always seems to be that if a school is good at teaching they are carp at relaying info back home or t'other way round - infuriates me as I come from an Admin background hehe

Lots of ironing done, washing to be done - would love to get it on the line but the garden is like a bog so it involves mud to get washing out which means more washing so thats a no no! Tumble Dryer it is then

    Have a good day everyone

MM - special job vibes for you for tomorrow or Friday hun

    Rummer - you're a star - thank you

:wink: I used to think that the house was messy becuase there were five children in it.Now there is only one teenager

and myself and it is just as bed.I cant use that as an excuse anymore. it really must be me I dont quite see how?

    how that happened.

    Moonflower

Ahhh Now I know exactly what happened - they trashed the house and left you to deal with it once they left. But by the time they left, it had become mission impossible and you've forgotten how to keep it tidy!

Its happening here - I am losing the will to tidy anything with 5yr twins :o

Well, not much happening here. Have done some laundry, kitchen is useable. My biggest achievement is that I have put a few things on ebay :T Its the only way to sort my house out. Absolutely NO point in tidying. Just need to halve the amount of stuff we have, and even then we will probably have too much :rotfl:
Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!
