  • OK, posting didn`t log me out, only the `thanks` button doing it. (As I have 4 pages to acknowledge, logging back in after each thanks would be rather tedious, so I`ll abstain from thanking you all, Messies, just say `THANKS` here! And so sorry to hear of your rabbit Rummer, and thanks other messies for the lovely animal pics you`ve posted.)
PC is out of warranty now, so DS may as well do his stuff on it. He does things very Messily - but at least I can still post.

Messy status - DIRE, after 2 longdays at work! I enjoyed the shifts, but house is appallingly messy now, everywhere. Not working again till weekend so I`ll get around to doing something about it. Not sure how long the PC will hold out before it crashes again - so if I`m MIA I`ll be with you in spirit, Messies!

Well, the chicken, chorizo and potato tray bake was very scrummy. Will definitely make it again, but need to look out for chorizo on offer.

Oooh that sounds scrummy. I've never heard of a tray bake before. Can I have the recipe/idiot-level-instructions please? :D

chicken, chorizo and potato bake recipe for you sonastin. The recipe is for 6 people and I made it for just the two of us - I used 1 tbsp of oil, 4 chicken thighs, 200g of chorizo, 1 red onion, 1/2 kg of potatoes, 1 tsp of oregano and some orange zest

I also found that I needed to turn the oven down part way through (think my oven is a bit 'hot' if you see what I mean)

    Enjoy!

PaddyPaws - thanks for the link - looks yummy, just the type of meal we like

    DR is done
Hall and stairs have been hoovered, emptied the hoover bag cos it was full!! Would normally slice open the bottom of the bag, empty it and then tape it back up but I've done it that many times I couldn't do it again but the bag has lasted a year lol so another had to be put in.
DS's very small Pool Table is back in the LR - no idea where to put it cos theres no room :[
All my knitting and sewing stuff is back in from the garage - put out there to make way for Xmas, now I feel relaxed lol

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Well..done a fair amount of housework...but just had a call to say I've got a job interview :) very locally, with a jeweller's which I've done before. Not getting my hopes too high but I feel I've got a pretty good shot as it hasn't been widely advertised. They were asking for two year's experience in this area but I'm guessing not many people around here would actually have that. Going to either be on Thursday or Friday, so wish me luck!
