Is there something special about DHs in Milton Keynes? (Helen Jelly and gilly1964) - my DH went fishing at the weekend too - and he didn't catch anything either :rotfl:
    xx

I think there must be and my DH didn't catch either
He was at Drayton Reservoir out here near Daventry xx
  • I really should be a little more involved in this thread.

I just mustered up all of my energy to clean the kichen, it took over an hour *OMG* and I still have to brush/mop and it's only 'decent', eurgh I really can't catch up with myself at the moment.

Done a quick tidy in the living room, needs a hoover.

I should do the bathroom a toilet before I have to pick the kids up but will i?
  • Do it, FA. Think how good about yourself (and the toilet!) you'll feel!
Can you also give yourself a reward if you do it?

Go on, mine needs doing too so I'll join you

I've had lunch but didn't tidy the lounge first, so clean bathroom then 15 mins just a quick tidy in the lounge (it actually needs a full declutter, but 15 mins will make a difference). Then I need to do a bit more decluttering upstairs for the 100 items in January declutter challenge

    see ya later

    Morning all

Ended up with a bummer of a migraine yesterday but I'm lucky that they don't go on for days like some get them. Spent the majority of the afternoon avoiding noise from the kids and DH. Feel alot better this morning

    Today I have
Washed up, sorted out washing piles
    wm x 1
    td x 1
    showered
    dressed
    let next doors dogs out
    organised DH
    swept Kit floor

    Today I want to
    pop to shop
pick up horse poo for lottie
    wm x 5
    td x 5
    iron school stuff

I think thats enough for now

    Have a good day everyone

    Helen x

PS Gilly - my DH caught nowt, how did yours do?

You've done FIVE loads of washing today??? Blimey! and I thought I was bad averaging 2 or 3 loads a day!

OH wanted to drag me to Ikea today to look at kitchens - so I got up early and cleaned the rabbits, fed the dogs, hoovered, sorted washing and put first load on. then I could go out without feeling guilty.

Wont get much done tonight - my eldest wants me to help her fill in application form for college.

In my defense I haven't done proper washing since Xmas!!!! apart from towels and bedding

I have had a bad head again so haven't managed to do most of the list - had to go to bed after taking tablets. Feel wiped out now but the show must go on

My DH was at Great Linford Lakes, but he sometimes goes to the Lakes in NP for a change

Hope your head is better Helen

And I've cleaned the bathroom!!!! (still not cleared the carp in the lounge though) Think I'll change the bed next then I'd best get on with tea, trying new recipe tonight - chicken, chorizo and potato tray bake. Sounds good as it's throw everything in a roasting tin and stick it in the oven for an hour, serve with a green salad - my kind of dinner :D
