we just put the last of the Christmas stuff away. And then I turned round and found a stocking left out. grrrrrrrr.

I forced myself to take it down Friday night. was so stroppy about it all I don't think it was worth it!

    xx

    I've found 3 mini stockings and a wooden angel.:o
I don't think I can persuade DH to go to the loft just for them.
  • I usually find something Christmassy lurking in the house at this time of year. So far, nothing. So I know they hide from me deliberately now!

    Shock horror. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Repair man coming to look at my fridge and oven later today and there is barely any tidying I need to do in kitchen!

Need to wash up from yesterday and put away a few stragglers from when I sorted out the cupboards a couple of days ago (:o), but apart from that, it's certainly presentable...;) Can I keep it that way all day???:rotfl:

    Morning all

Ended up with a bummer of a migraine yesterday but I'm lucky that they don't go on for days like some get them. Spent the majority of the afternoon avoiding noise from the kids and DH. Feel alot better this morning

    Today I have
Washed up, sorted out washing piles
    wm x 1
    td x 1
    showered
    dressed
    let next doors dogs out
    organised DH
    swept Kit floor

    Today I want to
    pop to shop
pick up horse poo for lottie
    wm x 5
    td x 5
    iron school stuff

I think thats enough for now

    Have a good day everyone

    Helen x

Well you know, times are hard and friends are few!

I have found what the mouse in my flat has been living on... you know those wheat pillowy things? Well I used to have a couple (and a pair of wheat booties to keep my toes warm in winter) but no more... even the lavender scented ones have been reduced to husks! I wondered why there was no evidence of him being in the kitchen, he found food in the cupboard in the living room.

Is there something special about DHs in Milton Keynes? (Helen Jelly and gilly1964) - my DH went fishing at the weekend too - and he didn't catch anything either :rotfl:

Managed to hoover all through yesterday and mopped hall and lounge floors, there were pawprints everywhere. I really wish my dog and cat would wipe their paws when they come in from the garden :D

Felt quite motivated this morning so have

loaded, run and unloaded the dishwasher
done a few bits of hand washing up and cleaned the sink and worktops
    one load in the wm
    mopped the kitchen floor
made two very important phone calls that I'd been putting off :j
took a phone call from the tax man and sorted paying back my tax refund overpayment :(

Next job is to tidy the lounge (well, clear the carp of the coffee table and settee) Then I think I'll deserve some lunch before seeing what needs doing upstairs.

    see you later
