    Hi all

I'm logged on, but pottering between screen and my bathroom, where the walls seem to be covered in an ancient coat of dusty glue *beneath* the dusty glue left by the recent plastering. It's making the children's (larger) bathroom seem like a breeze, and taking forever, but hey ho...

I'm on driving duty for DS, who is at a friend's family party, and DD has some friends sleeping over downstairs. So I expect I'll be about at midnight.

I'd also like to say how much fun I've had here this year, and what a comfort it has been to find other people who don't live in immaculate homes. As well as confirming my suspicion that people with messy houses are smarter and nicer than the average :)

See you at midnight x (off to scrape a few more tiles)

Didn't realise I like so many Bee Gee songs - just waiting to hear what No1 all time song is

And its hard work hobbling between rooms - to go on comp and watch TV

DH is gonna pay for this tomorrow

just to add to the thread love... earlier today it felt like someone has bunged an unexpected full stop into my life...now I know it was just an elipsis and you beautiful ladies and my wonderful OH have done that :) Instead of feeling like I've got 'failure' stamped on my forehead, I've now got a big old 'watch this space' sign :) You're all wonderful, and I can't thank you enough for all the support :)

My DDs have just made it! I thought DD1 was going to fall asleep on the sofa but they are both still awake!

I had planned to go to bed but welcoming a New Year (and kicking the !!! of 2011 which was very cruel) seems like a good idea now.

Sooo many fireworks have already gone off round here!!! Wonder if their clocks are wrong / they are drunk and can't tell the time anymore / they cba to wait and want to go to bed :D

    We are watching BBC1.
