DH has apologisede for being a pain so all is happy here
Frugal - things can only get better, we've had a hard year, my Dad died in Feb, we had to have a new boiler which resulted in us taking out kitchen cupboards and taking up laminate flooring from our room and the fitters then deicided we didn't need to, cars have been very unreliable, DH has had his hours reduced, WTC say we owe them 1000's, and so on - the list is never ending but you know what - bring it on cos the more that "they" throw at us, the harder we fight back!! No-one need bother messing with us anymore cos we have plans for this next year, personal, financial and family plans and no-one is gonna stop us - cor feel a rant coming on lol
I'm here to see the New Year in with anyone else who's awake

I'm here! One minute feeling wide awake and the next feeling sleepy but hopefully here to see the new year in with you
Sorry about your carp year Helen - I've not had a bad year except for my family member who has been in the wars and is not out of the woods yet.
My year has been better than the previous ones as I now have a permanent job, which is poorly paid and I have to spend a fortune on petrol to get to it (not to mention getting up at 5am, good thing I'm a lark!) but I love it and am so grateful to have a job in these difficult times.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

He's a star
When things are going ok or well he can be a little distant, but when things fall apart, he comes though every time and reminds me of how in love we are. I suppose you only really get a true measure of a man when things go wrong

Ohhh hi MM too - looks like we have ourselves a Partaaayyy! I might go and rummage out a nip of brandy in a bit.
Ok, let me see, here's my new year's resolutions....
Get using the treadmill on a daily basis (exercise is the cure for my health problems)
Eat less junk and more healthy grub - actually, just EAT LESS
Join the Grocery Challenge again to spend less money in supermarkets (I'm still overspending, in spite of trying to keep a tight rein on it)
I'll think a few more up - I love making new years resolutions and I don't get uptight about them... my "stop smoking" new years resolution didn't start till Jan 13th 20 years ago, but it still worked!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

JPS - we don't make new year resolutions we make new year challenges, resolutions set you up to fail [obviously not you - smoking] challenges are something that we want to do during the nect year - pressure is off to start straight away but the challenges are always in our mind - blimey hope that makes sense!!Projects made for craft fair - 40
