  • They're only MSE if you use rechargables ;) I used to burn through batteries at quite a rate of knots :P

Thank you everyone, you've cheered me up so much :) Managed to get my bum into gear at work after Helen's virtual hugs and ended up having a really productive day, and everyone else's hugs have warmed my heart right up :) plus my mum came to see me at work, and I made her laugh..which is always good :) Am now being snuggled by Roger the greyhound and sorting out my shopping list for tomorrow :)

JPS- sometimes I think the minor surgeries hurt more- maybe your body doesn't pump out so many endorphins...rest up and I hope it feels less sore tomorrow :)

Frugal - well done on avoiding the takeaway :)

Cat - I think you have a similar relationship with your daughter as my mum and sister...sister used to behave like a right biatch to my mother and wonders why I have a better relationship with her (not that I don't tell my mum how it is, it's just that we have a strong enough relationship to cope with it)

Ahh I do so love you all, you're all fantastic :)

    MM Belated hugs from me!

I'm ill again, still, permanently :( really fed up so I am going to go back to the docs again.

On the home front the livingroom is tolerable and the kitchen is ok. Not going to look anywhere else :)

Glad you're feeling better MM:):) xx

Oh poor Rummer!:(:( I feel so sorry for you, hope you get things sorted soon! xx

Went to pick DS up, icy out there, nearly went on my @ss a couple of times:eek: Did the dishes so at least that's something out the way. Tomorrow's plan includes wrapping some presents, and going to a wool shop for part of DD1s Xmas present. Will probably have a look at some crochet stuff for myself too :) Then making spag bol for tea, although for the last week I've been craving sweet and sour king prawns but with barbecue sauce from the chinese, I've resisted so far but I don't think I'll hold out much longer!:o

    goodnight, hugs to all xxx

    Good morning everyone :D

I didn't get a chance to read the post yesterday :( so Im hopeing you are all feeling a little better, I know that when feeling a bit down if you come here the hug's and good wishes pick you up no end :D

I had to go to Mrs W to clean for the last time before christmas (25 miles away) but got caught in a traffic jam, it took just over an hour to get to her's (normally 20mins) then when I came home I decided to go a different way and got help up for over half hr due to traffic works  so I ended up getting home just after 2pm then had DS to pick up at 3.30 and then work again in the evening.

Today is my last clean for Mrs J till N.Y. so not a lot going on cleaning wise in my house but no work next week :j:j
Hope to catch up later but till then hope everyone has a good day :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Morning messies, woke up to snow! It's quite wet snow and only partly settled. It's still coming down though! Rummer sorry you're still poorly - it's such a drag when you feel you're never going to get better. Hope the Dr can help.

I still have face ache this morning, and occasionally I forget and catch it or move just wrong. I'm probably being a bit of a wimp really, it's very small but amazing how much it hurts. I'm planning my attack on the "shed" for after the weekend, that needs sorting before anything else can be done as there's stuff to put away.

Afternoon all - feels like morning to me, was up and down watching the snow most of the night - didn't come to much though, only an inch or two :(

wow hart, that's a long way to go for a cleaning job!! Did you used to live nearer her or something?

jps you're NOT being a wimp at all, the smallest things can hurt the most, heavens, what was I like with the little burn on my finger that you couldn't even see??!! I could have cried with that and your pain must be much worse xx

Have been out to wool shop, got some stuff for DD1 but wasn't impressed that I had to spend £15 to use my debit card :( Got myself a size 4 crochet hook too and a ball of cheapo wool so I'll see how I get on:D Manual dexterity isn't my strong point though...:o

Really should start wrapping soon, might be babysitting my friend's gorgeous little boy tomorrow night so I have to get their things done. Not sure what's happened to the kitchen floor but it's suddenly got grotty so I should mop that too, got some cardboard boxes to flatten, tea to make later, more dishes - alternatively I might just stay on here and play Scrabble on FB all day:o

    Hugs to all xxx

    Afternoon messies

Sorry no personals from me today - still trying to remember who is who (my remembery has shut down until spring, along with my arteries after eating a pack of pork scratchings! :D)

Well, last night mostly went according to plan... the "load DW" didn't go according to plan but that was way down on my list of priorities after relaxing with a glass or two of vino, watching the weather forums and looking out for snow... which didn't arrive until the early hours way after I had gone to bed!

Todays plan when I finish work

Get kids clothes ready for tomorrow (they are away tomorrow night)
Get my clothes ready for tomorrow (work)
Clean out fire (the only cleaning job I love as it means I can light another!)

Thats it until Sunday afternoon when I hope to leap into action and get the house prepped for Xmas  I work much better when I have deadlines and might... might... make a list  of daily jobs!!!
Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!
