I've just had to split up DD and DS who were having a big fisticups fight, on the stairs!!! DD is a right little madam at the moment and is constantly winding up DS who finally snapped, trouble is as she is 3 years older she is 3 years bigger!! Awful I know but one day he's gonna thump her and boy is she asking for it!! Sibling love - its a splendid thing eh?? Neither will listen to me, DS about ignoring her and DD about leaving him alone - I see trouble ahead!!

Anyone else have kids who don't get on

    Helen x

My kids are always at each other, I keep telling them they need seperate cages :rotfl:

My DD is almost 17 and DS is almost 11 but they fight like 2 yr olds sometimes.
DS winds DD up but she is old enough to ignor him but doesn't

I hate ironing so sorry Helen can't do yours :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Snookey . I love that idea.

I had a good laugh this afternoon one of the twins was in the living room with my grandson and as fast as he finished playing daniel was putting the toys away . Kobie had six more out in the time it took danny to pack one away. After half an hour i felt sorry for him and said it's easier to wait till he finishes and goes on the trampoline or to bed as he'll only get them straight back out again.

Thanks Pollys, Hart and Snookey - DD went and sat in her tent in the garden for half an hour and calmed down and then went and apologised to DS [without any prompting from me] so all is well again, for now!!

I've done about 5 loads of washing today [before and after outing] and have had to use the dryer to get it finished as is started raining earlier. We are now ironing as we need to wear it - not something I like happening but its either iron or take kids out and kids are winning

Tomorrow is Dentist visit day for the kiddies, DS has 2 chipped teeth from a trampoline accident so hopefully they will start the process of rebuilding his teeth tomorrow or at least start talking about it. I need to mention that he has exposed nerves as hot and cold things are starting to bother him.

DD will go to Nana's later on to stay for the night so DS wants to sleep in her tent overnight which means I'll be back on the sofa - don't like to think of him sleeping out there whilst I'm upstairs, although I don't think he'll manage the whole night as he'll get scared [he doesn't like the dark]

Right thats enough waffle for now

Hart - you're a mean woman, not doing my ironing lol

Sentora - have a hug [hugs]

Snookey - good luck with the medical, I'll be thinking of you

When my two used to fight I would go into a really, really long lecture about them having natural love for each other, communication, dealing with conflict, understanding, boring, boring, mother droning on, yak, yak, yak, more mother drone, intensely boring, just a little more drone and yak or two.

They stopped doing it for some reason.:)

  • Good morning everyone. This is a lovely crowd on here and you are keeping me inspired to keep clearing up. I am in the middle of making my daughter a suit for sixth form and it has really brought it home to me how messy my sewing corner is. I can hardly move to sew and keep losing bits so that is the next job.

My three used to bicker a lot when they were little but now they are quite close. My two boys spend a lot of time together and we heard this morning that my youngest son is going to join his brother at university in October. Both boys at the same university and the same course. It is going to take some organisation getting them both up there at the same time though, I think we will have to hire a van. Still at least they don't have to be at opposite ends of the country at the same time.

I have managed to decorate our bedroom at last. We stripped the wallpaper off when my eldest left for uni two years ago. I thought it was time to get the job finished. We have also repainted the bathroom. My DD has been very busy helping me and is earning herself quite a bit of extra pocket money. She is washing the underside of the roof of our carport today and then she is going to paint it. I think I might have hit on how to clean the house up :) but it is going to cost me.

And congratulations Nat, how lovely to have a baby to cheer us messies up. :j

Candygirl - ouch bet that hurts - more water with it next time hehe :p

Been to Farmfoods, Netto, Morrisons and Pundstretcher - worn out now. ;)

DD wanted to go to Morrisons as Diversity were there today doing a Fundraiser for "Save the Children" - she duly paid her £5 and along with some other children they were taught a small dance routine and then danced it with some of the members of Diversity, she was over the moon at being able to do it.:j Diversity couldn't do a full show as it is pouring down here and their stage was wet so it was too slippy for them to dance properly but I have lots [and I mean lots] of photos. Just need to work out now how to get them off my phone and printed out!!! :rotfl:Lots of girlies screaming:eek:

DS stood in the rain and watched but I don't think he was all that impressed - he just wanted his lunch lol :rotfl:

Time for a cuppa and then its off to the dentist and then DDgoes to Nana for the night. DS wanted to sleep in the tent tonight but I've managed to get him to change his mind because of the rain :D

If the weather holds dry tomorrow we're off to Cambridge for a little shopping - I have no money but hey ho window shopping is good

    Catch you all later

    Helen x

PS to keep this related to the thread I have done no housework but do plan on doing some ironing tonight

I have started having a sort out and have a pile of stuff in the living room waiting to be photographed and uploaded onto preloved (only because they have free listing:D).

As for other household chores..then it is a big fat no.
