Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum was great, there's a combined admission ticket for both sites (£9.75) and concessions (£5.25) and family tickets. Although it was essential for me, it might not be for everyone.
However, last time we were there, a load of art students were drawing in the sand... and the surfers were falling off their boards and that's always worth watching.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Thanks Short-bird - DH will love them and so will DD - DS won't be so keen so I'll take him elsewhere!!
Living Room is quite possibly the worst its ever been so I'm about to make a coffee and sort it out - well enough for me to sit down anyway - tomorrow kiddies are off to see their Dad and DH is working so I'll have about 4 hours to sort it and the Kitchen
Hugs to one and all

It is quiet on here. I've had another of 'those days' days and not done anything. DH put a wash load on and got it dry and it's now away, so at least we are keeping on top of that.Second purse £101/100

Iv still got dd room so thats the goal for this weekend.
Esther you take it easy and keep going at your own pace. Your health has to come first.

Thanks Snookey, hope your blood sugar levels are okay and you get some energy back.
I can't sleep which doesn't help on top of everything else so I am downstairs on this at two in the morning. Will be dreadful tomorrow so another wasted day. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. Clutter is creeping back though which is so upsetting.
Hope everyone else is okay, it has been very quiet on here today(yesterday really but I haven't been to sleep yet).Second purse £101/100

Hugs Esther and Snookey and I hope today brings some energy for you both, I think that the weather sometimes plays a part in how we feel - this cold snap along with the biting wind brings me down [although I love Snow - go figure] I find it very hard to get motivated when its cloudy and rainy - but, today, I MUST do the Living Room as its really starting to pee me off now

Good morning all,
It has been quiet I have been herelurking but not felt like posting, lots of things going on in the background that are getting me down. So there has not much decluttering been going on although I did sort out the top of my wardrobe which badly needed it found things I had forgot about like photos etc so that was nice. Today I hope to go get my hair cut for the first time in 2 years but only if OH gets paid early its a bank holiday on monday so he should but his work can't tell him for defenite. Right better go and try get the knots out my hair.
Take care.Lose 20lb in 12 weeks 5/200 -
Good Morning Messies! It is quiet isn't it? Not much has been happening here. DS still not sleeping and so now need extra matchsticks. Spent yesterday morning frantically tidying our bedroom, space for feet had become non existant and levitation was a distinct option!! Managed to sort clean laundry into baskets in types, dh, mine household sheets etc. Found a few bits I'd misplaced but mainly dh clothes for this weekend as he's working away till monday, typical! Started feeling very unwell thurs eve and decided it must have been a bug. Was trying to fend it off as I had tickets for the opening night of Take That in Sunderland. I was going with a friend who has previously suffered with PND and could understand my anxiety about crowds, strange places and was happy to coax me along. We drove up had some food at Wetherspoons and onto concert. Lots of walking and nearly bolted on two occasions when I had to go through the turnstile and then when we went up the steps to see 54000 people!! Once I sat in our seats I was ok, Pet Shop Boys, and then the boys with a fab show! Felt like a teenager again!! Only complaint is the programme of the kings ransom £20 was c**p and not worth the money so much so I'm going to write and tell them!! Drove back with gritty eyes and DS has allowed me to have 4 hrs sleep! Swimming lessons for DD this am, then need to buy liner for raised beds at lottie. I intend to do lots of tidying and sorting whilst DH is away and making proper meals. Nasty weather and sooo cold here can't believe it's nearly June!! Have a good one!0

Just realised that the secret to having a tidy home is obvious.....live elsewhere.......:rotfl:and i love it.
Anyone fancy a swap maybe if we all swapped houses for a day we'd get more done. lol We'd all be so busy noseying we wouldn't realise how much we'd done.
Extrolly yeah glad you made it to the concert . I'd complain at paying 20 quid for a carp programme too.
knitting cathy hope you manage to get the hairdressers it's amazing how good it can make you feel. I went last year for the first time in 15 years and i was terrified you'd have thought i was going to the dentist. The girls were lovely though and before i left i made an appointment for 6 weeks later as my fringe grows fast.If i hadn't done it then i bet i wouldn't have been back since. After my 6th visit i got brave and had it dyed a lovely purple and i've had it dyed twice more since.
Esther I have more cba days than days that get anything done . I try and put washer dryer and dishwasher on each day and anything else is a bonus. As my oh says we didn't get it this bad overnight so it won't get sorted overnight either.
snookey. Hope the bloods are ok i'm diabetic and always tired but slow and steady seems to be winning the race.
My oh was so impressed the kitchen is tidy and decorated finally and we've managed to keep it that way that we went out and bought a new table and chairs . Just one worktop to change with a hole cut for new gas hob then job done. We keep going in to look cos we can't believe we finally almost finished one. Hall is looking better now too just need to scrub everything then paint up the stairs. Living room to sort this week i think and a furniture reshuffle in there no decorating needed hopefully in there.
car came back from garage yesterday cost over 600 quid and warranty company paid another 850 i think i ought to buy a garage or marry a mechanic mind you i don't drive hubby does.lolCross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
