    Hello messies

All gone v quiet on here - are you all busy tidying or have you gone down the pub!

Well I had a v industrious day yesterday (once I got going - having been down the beer festival the night before ;) ). My second shed is now immaculately tidy and brushed out and I've several bags of stuff to go to the tip with.

Now I'm on top of the majority of stuff - it is easier to stay on top of it, I've got a notebook and write in the jobs as I think of them - some are small - some are larger - some are house/cleaning related and the others are more fun stuff to organise! It's very satisfying to cross it off.

Today I'm going to try and
    1) go to the tip
    2) nip to sainsbugs as its at the same place as the tip and I need stuff for w*rk tomorrow)
    3) clean the kitchen floor
    4) dye my hair (grey is showing through :rotfl:)
    5) finish the ironing - then its done for another month

    Happy bank hols

Right I am back, and ready for action. The house is a guddle again, I have had too much going on to devots any time or attention to it, but I am ready and willing now. Today's plan though, is just to get through enough of the day to get DS!'s bags packed for his school residential tomorrow, so the real stuff won't start until tomorrow (I am also working tonight) so my mini list for today is:

    Sort out his bags
Get to the shops for extras / missing items
    Wash the dishes
    Put a washing on
Dye my hair too (might need to happen after work at this rate)

Have a good day everyone. :D

    Morning All

I have been missing for a couple of days, was hoping the belly would be de-cluttered but still waiting. I'm really having a CBA day because I have no patience and find waiting around a real drag. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A KICK UP THE BUM.

I really could do with sorting paperwork :eek::eek:. Also the washing needs getting on top of but the rain keeps coming down.:mad::mad: At least the allotment will enjoy it.

See you all later and hopefully I will be in a better mood.;)

Parsniphead - can't you have a word with bump and tell him/her that if they don't appear they will be on cleaning up details the moment they can walk. Might scare them into making an appearance...

Organising stuff for car boot sale we are going to next Saturday (weather permitting as I don't want to stand around in the rain).

Had to clear a space to assemble bits and pieces so now have the potential for a clearer dining room floor (apart from the bits of engine) once everything is sold. Kitchen is still looking good even after DD and I cooked flatbreads (flour everywhere).

Off to do more sorting, cooking and getting ready for work tomorrow. Have a good day fellow messies.:)

Hi Messy people . Iv cleaned dd room. Its no longer a pit and you can see the floor again. Hoovered and brushed the stairs, cleaned the woodwork in the hall, mopped dd and our room. Washing in the machine and drier.
Cooked a fruity curry and rice for tea and now Im resting.
Had to have a shower after stale juice from daughters room spilled all over me. It was pure juice turned bad and stunk. It was like a lab in her room with cups growing their own gardens, lol.
Lainz just reminded me Iv got to put the flea stuff on the cats. I bet they run.

Good Evening Messies! Well what a weekend weather wise. Spends all day hoofing it down and brightens up just in time for tea!! Stir crazy with kids hubby heading up M1. Cooked a roast in sc and have fed kids, DS is still not eating hardly anything just having milk and consequently nappies like korma!
Will have to tidy round LR before OH comes back and wash up. Can't wait to get kids to bed and open a bottle. I rarely drink but I'm not ashamed to say I need one today! :rotfl:
Went up the lottie in the pouring rain this am with my best mate and my kids. She's a great gardener and has offered to come up and help me I've only had it 6 weeks or so and have had raised beds put in needs weeding cow muck and top soil. It'll be nice to have her company i've told her we'll go for a drink after digging!
It's really been a CBA weekend. Need to have a kick up the butt. Been to A this aft and bought soda crystals to clean my greasy kitchen and one of those wash up thingys that you put washing up liquid into. I read a post, perhaps on here, that they are really effective. The mind is willing but the body isn't!! Have a good evening!

I now have a living room full of car boot stuff so hope it's nice on Saturday. DD and I started the mammoth task of sorting out my clothes - just as well she was there to help or probably nothing would have gone, but with her help 3 bags of stuff have been evicted for either CB or fleabay.

We are going to tackle the storage boxes next, this is where I store the 'I might lose weight and be able to get into it' stuff. As some of it I've been hoping to get into for at least 10 years :o I think it's a faint hope, so probably will be doing more than 1 car boot!! Still at least I will have more room and hopefully a bit more money too.

Haven't really done much else - it's taken all day to get this far and I need to get ready for work tomorrow so will again pass the baton to OH to keep the house looking straight.

Dd took herself to bed without telling us it seems her tidy room has exhusted her, even if it was me who cleaned it. Flea bay units came today now my books will have somewhere to live, lol.
Off to shops and bank in the morning and then see what I can sort or tidy. Im glad Im back on track but I guess it will be a day to day thing with those baby steps.
Soupdragon I know how you feel I did keep clothes in the vain hope that Id fit back in them but gave up and cs them. Im not doing anymore car boots as it means I keep hold of clutter in between selling.
Oh threw away the mops Id kept hold of even though they were broke. My mantra has to be if its broke, not needed, cluttering or collecting dust its chucked..
Ex Trolly hope the baby starts eating soon its really hard when they are unwell.
    Take care everyone.
