Afternoon all
What a fantastic dayI feel so much happy in the sunshine. It's not meant to last though, getting cooler from monday
boo!
Am I the only one who can't stand Lush? The smeel as you go pat the shop nearly knocks me out and makes me feel ill, I can't imagine ever going in one.
Nope I hate it too. I can't even walk past the shop, the smell is so overpoweringmy best friend loves the bath bombs but I have to send one of the other girls in to buy them for birthdays etc cos I can't face it!
I had lovely lunch with girls, and wander round the shops. Bought a plain white top from dorothy perkins cos I had a £5 voucher that expires tomorrow so had to get something and nothing else caught my eye. It'll do for work, and only cost me 60p after student discount and voucher.
Somehow the girls talked me into having them over for the Royal Wedding and doing a morning tea/brunch. I'm not a royalist, but we will just be commenting on all the outfits! :rotfl:. Gotta find some tacky royal wedding stuff now to decorate.
I did a mini food shop, went to Aldi for veg and fruit, and to morrisons for a few bits i can't get in Tesco. will do Tesco shop for storecupboard stuff tomorrow or monday.
Not sure what to make for tea, i fancy picky food so may do salad, warm potato salad, falafals, cheese etc.
Have a good evening all

Hi Again
Tigerfeet We are at Theobalds Park, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. It's a lovely site, small play area for kids and plenty of grass and walks around, and you can get into London too from here, via bus, train, tube. You do have to drive to Cockfosters to get on the tube. Yes maybe a Galaxy would be an idea too, but a 406, Passat, or anything that size should be big enough. Disco's are renowned for costing a fortune to maintain, the guy behind us here has said he bought his for £14k, and must have spent that much on it again to keep it on the road.
Watching the lambing program, having a quiet night tonight, and then off to see DS & GF tomorrow to take them supermarket shopping, and having lunch (courtesy of us no doubt!). Will head home on Monday lunch time. Mama Mia will keep us entertained later.
Congrats to OH HH
I must stick up for some males by the way ladies, my DH is totally organised in the house, he has to be as I am not.:o:D:D:D

another one here who doesn't do Lush, I get a headache walking past their stores!
Well done to mr HH xxx
I have had a good day, up early, dyed hair, cleaned bathroom and kitchen then went back down to the factory shop that is closing soon, All stuff half price, the stock is way below selling price as it is seconds or sample stuff, if you can find the fault in the seconds I will give you a prize lol
I got a 3 piece suit for my sons wedding with an extra co ordinating top and fascinater to match and a dress and jacket for £102.50, considering I had tried on an outfit in debenhams and the dress alone was £175 I think I have a real OS Bargain

I love walking past Lush, I can't get enough of the smell in thereBut then again I am a girl who thinks petrol is a lovely smell so who am I to judge
Had a busy day out in the garden, potted on my onions, savoy cabbage and broccoli, sowed courgette and peppers. Scraped the moss off the block paving at the front. Got a headache now so think I may have had a touch too much sunNot to self buy a large brimmed hat.

Jackie - glad you are home safely and that you had a good week - you couldn't have picked better weather:T:) Taplord used to work with Ingrid I think in years gone by also I'm glad my recommendation of a place to eat was ok.
We've eaten our veggie curry - I had a go at making some bahjis for the first time too - they were ok but lacking in something.
DH is up the veggie garden and we're off to walk the dogs soon.
hav a nice evening all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Evening all,
Nice day here to-day, not quite as warm as yesterday, has clouded over now so must recover clothes from line in case it rains.
Lazy day to-day, went to DD3 for brunch, stayed ages, OH was in no hurry to leave so I relaxed...had to go to chemist to get OH something to relieve the hay fever he has had for ages ( thought it was a cold, he has never had problems before). Needed to check with pharmacist that he could take an OTC remedy because of his medication so got that and they seem to have worked....he's gone to bed for the last 2 hours so will hopefully sleep.
Another Lush non-fan here, worked with someone who loved it so had a surfeit at that stage.
Congratulations to Mr Hester.
Would willingly donate OH to anyone at the moment....don't want someone else's OH in return thanks, just some peace, Victor Meldrew has nothing on him, he grumbles about everything lately and seems to be getting worse, misunderstands what people say and contradicts them at top of voice and shouts at the tv news....anyone?? free to a good home?? Please!!
Thanks for rhubarb cake recipe Julie(?) have copied it and look forward to making it maybe to-morrow, our rhubarb is doing well this year so want to make the most of it...
JackieO....glad the holiday was enjoyable, good weather makes a huge difference doesn't it...nice to see you back.
Just getting dark here now, so nice to have longer days and flowers in bloom, wild and garden, makes me feel not a day over 60.
I'm sure that I had other things to comment on....sorry that the memory had left.
hugs to all in need or want
