Am away for the weekend and woken up to glorious Cumbrian sunshine.
Meeting friends (who live in Orkney) and happen to be here too, walking dogs along the coast and having lunch out. Then probably more walking or reading in the sun.

No HW etc to do :) so have two whole days for me.

    Enjoy the sun

Went out to dinner at a friends house last night, got home at 2!!! I was a bit miffed as I've given so many people lifts to various 'do's' now I find it difficult to drive in the dark I was hoping I'd be offered a lift occasionally, but no, everyone wants to drink so they get their husbands to drive. Still last nights dinner was only 5 miles so I drove myself, drank water all night & watched everyone else get drunk, lol..
WM & DW are both on, fish & hubby have both been fed, hubby's watching the GP qually. My back is sore today as I was sat on a backless bench last night & as I'm so short my legs were dangling.
    Have a great day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Another goregeous sunny day here too. We have friends round tonight for a curry. Going to make a thai green chicken low GI one for a change. Will do poppadoms and bits for starters and will make a chocolate cake for everyone for pud. I will be having almond and rhubarb cake that I made last night, low GI and I like it. Everyone else thinks its not sweet enough but I quite enjoyed it so maybe my tastebuds have finally changed:j:j:j

Had a disturbed night as DS2 came in the worse for wear about half three and then proceeded to stumble about trying to lock the front door and stagger up the stairs. So that meant I was wide awake as I had to check he was lied on his side and had locked the front door:mad:we will be having words.

Hoping to have a sit in the garden later with my book. DH is bidding on a new golf net and if he wins we will be driving to Leicester tomorrow to pick it up. He said don't say I never take you anywhere:rotfl:anyway might have lunch out which will be a treat.

Car in for MOT on Monday fingers crossed.

Have a lovely sunny Saturday x

I haven't put anything in the ground cos i'm still hoping we'll get this house...... The sellers have said will we meet them halfway which means they come down 3000 and we need to find 3000 OH is dealing with it all now anyway cos I was getting a little stressed and tearful:o

We had exactly the same problem when we moved last year, at the last moment, we were told our house was overvalued by 6k , the house we were buying would not budge, so we had to frantically raise another 6k, we managed to find 1K, and had to re apply to bororow another 5, which took weeks :(, it did all work out in the end, but it was very stressful, I hope it works out for you xx

    Morning all :D

Beautiful day here :T first load on the line, another in the wm,and one more to do.

OMG !! there has just been an explosion in my kitchen, I had put a dw tablet in dd's flask and topped it up with hot water, just heard a huge bang and the lid was in bits all over the kitchen :o:rotfl:, good job no one was there, will have to nip to Mr T and get her another.

Anyhoo, this morning, I need to have a quick hoover / tidy through, get the rest of the washing done, and get into the garden for a while.

OH and I went for a walk last night later than usual, by some local lakes, we saw so many bats :T they were swooping down towards us to check us out, it was amazing to see, we also saw a heron, and little dog has a marvelous time chasing rabbits, she came home and flopped out for the night.

Will take her out again later on, I cant bear to be inside too long in this weather. Need to sort out what dd is doing, she slept at her friends last night, so need to work out what time she is coming home.

Dinner tonight is pork belly strips, with bbq sauce with rice and peas, not really suitable for this weather :rotfl:, might get some noodles instead.

Silvermaid, hope you feel better soon xx

Butterfly hope your poor toofs start to feel better soon xx

Molly, I have been meaning to say to you, the midwife book I am reading is very good, well worth a read if you get the chance.

OK better get on, have good days all xx

    Morning All :D

It was lovely this morning waking when my body wanted to wake up and not when the littlies wanted to wake up. Am sat watching Time Team and eating breakfast. WM is on and coming to the end of it's cycle, will go and empty the DW and fill it in a moment and then sort the washing onto the airers and get the next lot on.

DH and DC1 are going to sort the trailer tent out and get the awning out and see if it is as wet as we fear and hope it has not been damaged. With the weather we hope if it is wet, it will dry quite quickly.

I am going to crack on in boys bedroom. It is scary how much was pushed under the bed.

Hope you all have a lovely day.
