Julie, I tell you this room is honestly the room of doom. I have done about half an hour under there and do not seem to have touched it.
DH has bought all sorts in from the trailer tent, so my kitchen is covered in all sorts. But the awning wasn't where we thought it was and was perfectly under cover and is dry :T:j:beer:. So a big "phew!" was uttered there. The seat pads have a little mildew on them so I will have to give them a big scrub and there appears to be a few spots on one of the sleeping bags but that is all by the looks of it now. We will have to wheel the trailer out during the week and open it right up to double check every thing but so far, so good.
We are waiting for Dad to bring the his car over so we can borrow it for a while and DH is going to look at cars in the week. We are going to borrow the money off Dad and pay him back.
When the car is dropped off, DH is going to drop him off at football and then go get some chips for us for lunchBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Hello to you all, have been reading most days but not posting. (((HUGS))) to everyone's whose ill or fed up. I was meant to be at a meet-up at Blackheath this afternoon and was so looking forward to it, but TOTM has intervened :mad::mad: and I just feel hurty and huge! Will crack on with OU course instead. Later I have some shredding to do, and also want to sort through the top of my wordrobe to see what can go to the CS.
Julie67, is it you that's doing the Low GI? We really ought to be doing that as well,as DH is diabetic, and I'm insulin-resistant, but seem to have got out of the groove. Do you/did you use a particular cookbook to get you into the way of it?0 -
Breathe, Lou, breathe. Men seem to have a different mind set to us.
Hester, well done to your DH
I am waiting for DH to come back with my chips.....still!BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Ivyleaf Yes me and a few others. Its working great and lost about ten pounds in total over about 6 wks, but mainly I am doing it for health reasons, I have IBS and started off not eating bread and this just seems to fit in well. JulieGeogiana is more of an expert than me but I have 2 books Collins Gem GI and The GI Diet by Rick Gallop but there are lots of good recipes on the net. I can honestly say I have never felt better and my cravings for sweets are so much better controlled. It took me a while to realise it will come off slow and steady but I can recommend it:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
