I will look at CCCs tomorrow, because I could always take on some extra agency work to cover the amount that they will need if it is feasible, and I would feel so much better! Thankyou also for being understanding re the situation with the ex. He would love to see me go under because he didn't want me to leave, but the abuse got too bad and I had to go because of my other children, who have flourished ever since.
I think I will take your advice and speak to a sol re a sharing of the money. I will also ring Tax Credits anonymously to get their take on it, to see if there's anything I can do. Perversely, my youngest son, form my 1st marriage, has now discovered for himself that its hard to get a decent job without quals, and is now considering going back into learning. This would then generate CB and WTC and TC, as well as maintenance from his Dad, so things could be whole lot easier in the New Year. Thanks again, Debs. :xmassmile0
