I haven't checked, but I know that M&S vouchers normally do... I'll check later and let you know

There is no expiry date! :)

I am going to chase this up again on Tuesday, I wont give up. I would be happy with a £100 credit instead of the vouchers, Been reading people have been given credits instead.

  • If they don't arrive contact the advertising standards agency and they will give you a complain ref number, then contact sky with the refernce number and you will get your vouchers.

I contacted sky via email to chase up my M&S vouchers to then get a reply saying that I am not entitled to them as I did it over the phone, but the thing is I did do it online and then got an email the next day to phone them about my order. When I phoned I was told that the website was not working properly and I should have been charged a delivery fee if I wanted to self install, but it was free to have an engineer. So I went with the free option and thought no more about it. This was on the 24th March, last day of the offer.

I got a letter dated the 7th April to say the vouchers would be sent in 45 days. So I have just phoned them and they are still saying I did it over the phone, and are even trying to say that the offer wasn't even on in March.
I am totally gobsmacked and I am now waiting for a call back, hopefully they will be listening to the original call as I deleted the email I had, which I am so cross about. But thought I should let you guys know, in case the same thing has happen to somebody else and you are still sitting waiting for the vouchers

I too ordered my Sky over the phone and when I queried whether I would still be entitled to M&S vouchers they said yes. Fast forward to a month ago and still no vouchers so I rang and explained it all again, they said there records had not been marked that I should receive vouchers and they would look into it and to wait another month. The month is up now so I will ring them again tomorrow. I'm not going to give up as that's £50 of posh nosh that we would not normally have :rotfl:!!!!

    I emailed them with this:
After watching BBC watchdog last night and hearing some of the "horror" stories I am starting to become concerned. I have also read tales of woe on many internet forums (Money Saving Expert). I appreciate T&Cs stated vouchers will be with me within 45 days of my HD subscription ( enabled 34 days ago) but I just want to make sure I haven't been forgotten about. Regards

    Got this reply:
Thank you for your email enquiring about 100.00(GBP) M&S Vouchers.
Having checked your account I can see that 100.00(GBP) m&s vouchers have been issued on 23/4/2011 which will take 45 days to receive it .
I hope this information has helped with your enquiry. If you require any further assistance, you can respond to my email. You can also contact our Customer Service team on 08442 41 41 41, where one of our advisors will be happy to help.
    Kind regards

so the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing...the vouchers were to be sent (via recorded delivery) within 45 days of HD sub being activated, now they say they have been issued and will take 45 days to receive from date of issue...I know Royal Mail is slow....but I'm not aware of ANY company who offers "recorded delivery" that can take up to 45 days to deliver....

SKY = Liars...simple....back to Watchdog to update them....
No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere

Hidepet a similar thing has happened to me..

I emailled Sky asking them where my vouchers were but they said I was not entitled to them due to going to a third party sky specialist in order to do my installation.

This is completely untrue as I live in a block of flats, the management company went to a third party to get the building up to date (we had the digital switchover) and then it was up to the individual flats as to whether they wanted Sky.

I decided to go ahead and knowing the £100 offer was on, I went through the Sky website to sent me a confirmation letter and passed it onto that third party to do the installation.

Now they are refusing to give me the vouchers I feel I am entitled to :( I even went through Topcashback to get the extra back which was not tracked. Although I sent an untracked ticket to them who agree I should have received the cashback and have contacted Sky

Grrr  Now i'm locked into the 12 month contract
