Hi everyone, and thanks whatever suits you it is Friday. Hugs as required.

The usual mad dash to get the boys then we came home via the shop to get picnic things for lunch out tomorrow. I am missing one pair of boys walking boots which are not where they should be which is annoying. It may be deliberate as the boy in question hates walking.

I actually planned ahead and got some goat out to defrost this morning, and I then plan to slow cook it as curry. Anyone got a recommended recipe? I bought it as an experiment.

Lamewolf lovely to see you back I hope you are keeping well x
esmf that is really good news :T
Still haven't been able to eat so I am just sipping water - I had my first rinse out at 3pm and it made my mouth feel fresher but didn't help with the bruising. So I am tanked up on tramadol :D

Good news is that I have just got my DLA award so that will help out with the cost of drugs, hospital parking, and all my accessories around the house etc .
Got to re-apply for my blue badge next week cos mine runs out in May.

Dinner for my lot is Chicken, couscous and salad - I might try a bit of soup.

JackieG Hope you had a good day at the zoo and didn't leave any of the kiddiewinks there ;)

DC3 was an absolute star on his Easter Bonnet parade. He led the parade around the playground with the biggest grin on his face ever and organised everyone for the photo.

DC2&3 are at M&D's now and DC1 is at Any Questions with DH and I am sitting here in peace and watching carp on TV and trying to decide what HM meal to get out of the freezer. Have a wash in and will probably put the DW on later as I haven't managed to do it today and stuff is piling up.

Have baked ginger biscuits, fruit bread and GF fruit bread today as well.

Also rang the Housing Association to have a moan about my neighbour. She sits outside the front of her house with all her cronies and they smoke like it is going out of fashion and the butts end up on the pavement outside her house and migrate towards my house and DC2&3 have a habit of picking them up, no matter how often I tell them not to and it is an eyesore.

    Evening all

Beautiful day here :j and today my work kids went powerboating in Pembrokeshire. I didn't go out on the boats cos of my vertigo :( but I did get to spend most of the day 'working' out on the balcony off the cafe we have in our sister office down there :D:D. I spent the morning catching up on emails etc in the office, and then plugged my lappy in the extention lead and headed outside to do some uni work. So basically I got paid to do uni work in work time whilst sunbathing  I love my job :D. Work kids had a ball out on the boats too.

Got home about half5 and I was knackered from the long drive (80mins each way), but grabbed my book and went to sit by the sea for an hour, which was lovely :D.

Utterly exhausted now though! Gonna make a quick dinner and then curl up on sofa.

    Have a good evening all

    Hi everyone

Read thread at work today but cant thank for some reason, will go back and do thanks.

So glad it is Friday night, has been a long week at work, next few weeks are going to be hectic as have to get hours down to payroll early due to all the bank holidays, ie next payday is good friday, so paid on the thursday, cuts our time for getting hours in by a day and lets not go there for the next pay run! Methinks the Queen does not understand when she tells us we have a bank hol! which in our case comes out of our hol allowance, so what we are actually being given is another day we have to take off and 1 less day I can take when I want

OS wise today was a quick run round before work, nothing since I have come home although am thinking about cleaning fridge out, only thinking mind lol

Tomorrows plans are...going back down to the Slimma factory shop which is closing down and everything half price, went last week but only had 'buying outfit for wedding' head on, (didn't find anything, but am afraid I have already tried an outfit on in Debenhams and fell in love with it) am going back tomorrow to see if I can just find bargains :rotfl: (will be selling my soul to the devil to buy the one in Debenhams for my sons wedding :D)

Will also need to do the dreaded HW catch up at some point.

Hope everyone has a good evening and catch you all tomorrow unless I am overwhelmed with finding wardrobe space for my bargains :rotfl: xx

Butterfly Brain and Molly, I am so glad to hear you girls got your DLA sorted. :D

Had a fabulous time at the zoo, the weather was amazing and I have caught the sun :) as has DS1. DS2 has about one hundred new freckles too :rotfl: Some of the animals were amazing and we took hundreds of photos. We especially enjoyed the monkeys and my favourites, the Rhinos. We got chucked out at closing time, and are not long in. I am having an early night tonight :o

Hope everyone has a good sleep tonight, especially all these ASD boys of ours, and the sick ones too.

Put the food shopping away. Sorted the fridge out. DW emptied, filled and on again. Wash out the machine and hung up. Will probably put one on overnight.

Glad you had a lovely day Jackie.

    Hi everyone

Been Mia again got a new phone which won't seem to let me post for some reason. Also had Ds1 staying with us which hasn't been very relaxing, he is 20 but struggles to sit still for more than a few min. He has decided that he doesn't want to be here full time he misses his mates too much, so he is going back to stay with his cousin. I now have two of his mated staying till Sunday. They have managed to meet some of the people off the only way is essex.

OS today dw and wm on and emptied. Shopping done. Grass cut. Also had an induction today as managed to get part time work in a local pub/restaurant never done this type of work before so I have my first shift on Sunday so will see how I go.

NPM so glad to hear that the melatonin is helping. I too found it makes such a difference to the moods and especially mine as I had a bit of time in an evening to relax.

Hugs to anyone that needs wants one. Take care
