Hello all:beer:
What's this – the Wolf checking in two days in a row?? Something must be wrong!
ButterflyBrain Oh, you poor lamb, that dental work sounds positively ghastly.:( I don't know who David Haye is, but I've described my joints feeling like I've done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson before now, so I get the gist. You absolutely MUST take it easy for at least a couple of days; your poor system needs to get over the shock! Having had 3 operations on my face, all under general anaesthetic, back in the 1980's, I really do feel for you. (((gentle hug)))
Miecherox I agree with what others have said – it doesn't sound legal to revalue at this late stage. It's a long time since I did a house move (1994; when I moved in here in 2002, Mr LW already had the bungalow), but it deffo sounds very fishy to me. Do check out those links that ButterflyBrain posted.;)
Mummysaver I hope you're feeling better today.:o
Well, if I'm honest, typing this is displacement activity:whistle: – I ought to be cleaning the spare room. So I reckon it's time to get off my bum and grab a duster.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Bitsy....we use one of those little camping lights/lanterns as it gives him more light than a plain nightlight
lou he is still having meltdowns as it is all just part of the condition but his general mood is more amenable with more sleep.
Taplady have read that book:D it reminded me a little of DS in parts.....like thinking that when you "clocked" someone it meant you hit them with a clock:rotfl: and the having to watch tv at certain times no matter what....but DS is a lot more severe than Jacob in the book0 -
BB good luck

Afternoon
Well feeling much better today, still have an awfull cough.
The sun is trying to get through the clouds so I plan on hanging up the washing that's in the WM at the moment.
Have been and had my haircut and I plan to spend the afternoon getting the house back in some sort of order.
I have a few paperwork things to sort through. I got Office 2010 the other day so looking forward to playing around on excel with our budget this weekend.
Dinner will be something from the freezer, then my best friend is over tonight for a good old catch up. I can't wait. She doesn't live that far but between the two of us working, having kids and husbands that work shifts it's not easy to get together.
JackieG hope you had a good day at the Zoo. I don't think you are far from me as i'm in Glasgow as well.
Right best get moving.

With all of us living in and around Glasgow we ought to get together. They've got an OS meeting in Blackheath tomorrow (where my parents live) but its rather a hike. How about we plan a northern one?GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Afternoon all
Home at last, lol. We don't get a lunchbreak on the last day of school as the kids finish at 12 & the teachers at 1, the idea being we go early too, but it doesn't happen, I left 20 minutes early & that's all, still never mind, I shall go & potter in the garden for a while.
I had a lovely evening with DD yesterday, we had a free hand & arm massage at Harrods with Jo Malone products, we though we weren't going to make it as there was an overturned lorry on the roundabout to get on to the M4, but we got there with 5 minutes to spare. My arms still smell nice, but I've washed my hands so many times the smell has worn off them.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Afternoon all,
Glorious day here, have spent some time clearing remains of tree that fell in October so that OH could mow lawn....he's at that now, will then do front (kinda...our house faces strangely to road) and dissolve with tiredness, can never convince him that it can be done over 2 days. Hung out one wash, animal beds due out in a while.....sun was very hot and of course wasn't wearing a hat so had to come in and drink a pint of water to cool off.
Dinner to-day will be ham and cabbage, with potatoes, stewed apple and custard to follow...need to get some rhubarb into freezer but will need to wash and cool outside freezer as there isn't room for a pea in indoor one, that will be another day's work.
DS3, DDIL2 and DGS1 have gone away for the weekend, they have taken their boat, hope that the weather stays good, this was a gift for DIL's birthday in October last but they haven't been able to get booking until now so much looked forward to.
Lame Wolf....you have been missed....I should be hoovering the living room but this is important too!
Hugs to all with health or other problems...can't believe that mortgage company....
Kit77...I had the pleasure of attending an OS meetup in Glasgow last July....and one in Edinburgh in November....was almost snowbound for latter...so would advise another Glasgow one....money too tight this year to be able to go but will be with you all in spirit.
Really should get back to a bit of housework...

Afternoon everyone - hugs and thoughts for anyone who needs them.
There's miles of cloudless blue over this way today, and it made realise how scruffy our dining/living room looked, so it has been blitzed. Laminate swept and hoovered, rug shaken and replaced, windows cleaned, clean covers now on the sofas, and the back window/door curtains are in the wash.
My grandma's rocking chair is now back down here - that was fun, dragging that downstairs without trapping fingers, toes or any part of the garden tiger, who was determined to play foreman.:)
It is now in the corner, draped in a couple of knitted mats. Not sure what DH will think of it, but I want to use it properly, and besides, it gives us an extra seat down here. It's also forced me to displace some of my cr*p - four bin bags and counting this week, plus a load of recycling.
Had my first counselling session yesterday- it's not costing me anything, but it should help me deal with she who would like to obeyed at work. I'm really glad that I finished on Wednesday, and won't be back for the best part of three weeks. We're waiting to hear who our new head will be, as they've been interivewing this week. Life could get very interesting come September, depending on who they pick..
Tea will be chicken sandwiches and a glass of wine, while I take contarol of the remote, as DH is out as friend's house tonight for PS3 night. I want to get the sleeves finished on the top I'm knitting, and generally take it easy.
Hope the weather 's nice with you. Enjoy your weekend.Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH
