NPM that made me :rotfl: DS1 used to say to his grandmother (every time he saw her) "you are going to die, because that's what happens when you get old" No matter how many times we explained to him he just couldn't grasp, not to say it :o

    Morning troops.

(((hugs))) to all that need them and good luck <<<<vibes>>> for those that need them.

Busy day today. DC3 is at home but has to be in nursery later for the Easter Bonnet parade. DC2&3 are going to spend the weekend with Mum and Dad. So I need to finish washing everything, still missing one slipper. M&D bought the boys pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers for Christmas, so I would like to send them with those. Need to go down town and get some money out for DC1 school trip. M&D are picking us up at 1.30. Will take the 2 littlies after school. I then need to get to the train station with DC1, train to next town, bus out to DH school. Drop DC1 off as they are having Any Questions coming from there today and DH and DC1(9) enjoy listening to the programme. Then I have to get bus and train back and hope I am home for 7pm for the A$da delivery, due 7-9pm but you can bet your bottom dollar it will arrive at 7pm when I am not quite home. Will try and grab something to eat while I am out as well.

Well I still can't find that bl00dy slipper. I have started to pull the stuff out from under the bed. There is more there than I anticipated  but couldn't see it. I have looked round all the rooms as best I can but no slipper. Daft thing is I saw them on the shoe shelf in the hall on Monday and thought to myself "that's good, I won't have to go scrabbling round for them" I should have put them some where safe then <rolls eyes>

Butterflybrain - OUCH! Poor you. Hope you're not in too much pain xx

micheroux - sorry to hear about your house completion. When did they re-value the house? am very  on your behalf xx

camelot - Hugs for you. Hope DS's fiance can see the best in your words and that you can find a common ground, for the baby's sake at least xx

NPM - Glad to see Noah is getting to bed earlier. Had to laugh at what he said to your mum :rotfl:

Re DS I have got a night light (which I will be putting on tonight) although I fear it won't be strong enough for him :o I think really he'd prefer to have the landing light on (which we do when he's going off to sleep) BUT I need total darkness to sleep and the landing light shines right into my face where I sleep <sigh> I will look at the glow stars too.

Hi all, been MIA for a couple of days as we have had a tree man sorting some out in our garden. He and his GF are friends of DSons. He's going to come back the week after next and do the front (we have a lot)He's trimmed the tops off a row of hawthorns,so hopefully we'll get more sun in (and my washing might dry better:j)Also taken a third of a horse chestnut and all the ivy growing on it too.Makes the garden look bigger. There is an ash tree at the front which is next doors, but its right on the boundary, which takes an awful lot of light off the lounge.Thats covered in ivy too. When it comes into leaf and the branches get heavier,we tend to get branches dropping onto the drive if it gets wet and windy-one hefty one narrowly missed the hound last year,so all the overhanging branches are going. In true MS style the bigger logs are being stored for the future for the wood burner :D It just needs a good tidy up now.

    Right better get to it.

Jackie hope you enjoy the zoo.
    Bitsy-hope the kids sleep tonight.
    BBrain-:eek:your poor gums-hugs
    Miecheroux-hope it gets sorted.
Tigerfeet-hope the slipper turns up :D
    Anyone I've missed-hugs.x

Morning everyone - gorgeous sunny morning here today - Just as well as DS2 had 3 (yes 3) wet beds last night - one was due to a night terror so I took him into my bed - which he has wet as well grr!!

BM on (last nights loaf turned out like a rock!) WM been on twice - now drying on line, DW on, both boys have temperatures so they're off school. No bread until the BM has finished so no breakfast until then. Just had a lovely long chat with my mum - we never get the chance to chat when the boys are around although we might see them this weekend with a picnic if the weather holds.

GREAT news - OH has got an agency job for 4 weeks - yipee. Starts next Thursday, he'll be away from home, but no different to him being in Iraq or somewhere! Just safer! My ebay sales are looking up and my facebook sales are too. Might take the boys to the cinema later if they're OK, we need a trip out. until then will raid the fridge for some food - and think of something to make for dinner tonight - might be back for ideas later.

Hugs to all those in need. Bitsy - we've got the boys solar lights from Ikea - very bright, but powered by the sun during the day - great for keeping them in their beds at night and I don't worry about the cost of the electric. x
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
