Morning all
Bright and sunny here, bit of a nip in the air but that will soon go. DH up and gone off to collect caravan and then go to the rally, I'll be following on later this afternoon once the children are out of school. Am pleased he's gone off today and will be busy all day as we had words yesterday and he was a real pig, so he got the short end of my temper, not such a good idea on his part as I don't lose my temper very often but when I do it's a bit of an explosion! He did apologise but I told him he overstepped the mark.
Dinner last night was delicious chicken with onions and mushrooms in a mushroom sauce, tagli (pasta ribbons!), with some side veg and lemon and coriander cous cous as DS2 doesn't like pasta. Ice creams for dessert. Managed to get all the washing up to date yesterday and line dried and ironed, have just emptied the machine and will be pegging out in a mo, will iron this once it's dry.
Will head to the bank, scales and shopping shortly, want to get our bedding stripped and in the wm before I go out. Will endeavour to do some baking/cooking later. Want to get my bets placed for the National tomorrow as not near a bookies whilst away, not into it in a big way but always like a flutter on the National. Did get some housework done yesterday so want to finish off today too.
Have a great Friday everyone.
Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

Hope you have a great day at the zoo jackie.
*hugs* butterfly brain, really hope you feel better soon.
*hugs* bitsy, hope DS settles down again soon
All my crazy deadlines, exams and presentations will be over at 2:20pm today, I've had so little sleep this last week because of them! Then I'm off to the park! The weather has been so lovely, i've been off to anywhere with grass every chance i've had. But this is really as hot as I like it, I can't stand it any hotter it just gets too uncomfortable to do to day-to-day rushing about.
Cleaning with the LL went okay, as it wasn't the LL it was the Agent. The LL is coming on monday, so I'm cleaning the carpets over the weekend.
Just gave my Lidl waffle iron a test run, good, but wish I had the one with deeper groves. Sadly this was the last one left and it has a mesh like grid not for belgian waffles but it worked just as well

BBrain, that sounds painful, take it easy.
Morning All
I have my hoover back!
Up early again, had a monumental disagreement with DS1s fiance last night which left me a little upset. This resulted in me having a glass of wine and now I have a headache (doesn't take much)! Had to say my piece before things get worse, feeling a little sorry for DS1 as he is now caught up in the middle. Don't think I will be asked to do much babysitting when the baby arrives!
Going to Edinburgh later to collect DS2 and GF, first time she has been here. Met her before and she seems lovely, very chatty. DS2 told me last night that she tried to do some baking to bring for me but after she had grilled the brownies and they burnt she gave up!!
WM and DW on, managed to get all the ironing done last night so that's all clear for once. Washing should dry outside as it's looking promising here. Take care. XX0 -
Morning all!
Glorious sunshine here, fingers crossed it lasts the weekend as I'm taking dd3 and some friends shopping for her birthday, then she has several more arriving to sleep over, it'd be nice to be able to do a bbq and chuck them outside!
Felt slightly below par yesterday, and ended up coming home from work, blood pressure was really low, so went straight to bed and slept until the girls arrived home. Then ds and girls were in and out making me drinks and food and generally looking after me, bless them! Feeling much better today, but then all I've done so far is wake the troops and make sarnies, anyway I'm planning on taking it quite easy for the day - hoping to reserve a new ironing board online whilst they're on sale in Homebase and a couple of raised beds, and pop to the garden centre for a couple of rhubarb crowns when ds finishes college and is available for bending and lifting! And that will be all probably, if I feel up to it I shall go to Asda and fetch some bits for dd3's party - chocolate for the fountain and some sweeties for the party bags, but if not I can pick them up tomorrow whilst she's shopping with her pals.
OS will be very limited for me, I shall be issuing instructions to the troops when they arrive home mostly! Thankfully, even though they often manage to drive me round the twist, and no doubt I do them too, they are great helps when needed!
Have a good day all xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

mornin
just getting ready for a trip to the museum again with DS then we will feed the ducks and have ice cream in the park.
He is still up early every morning but at least the melatonin is helping him go to sleep at a decent time and it seems to be helping his mood.
He is talking to my mum on the phone at the mo and has just told her she is little and fat because that is what happens when you get old like she is:eek:
looks like it might be a nice warm day again
DS going to his dads tonight till Sun morning. I will spend the weekend trying not to spend anything as we are skint:o....this is due to paying as much debt off as we can so I can leave work soon as poss. plus it is because Halifax take ages to clear cheques:mad: DH paid his work cheques in on Sat and it has taken till today for them to clear!! I have told him he has to pay them in on Fri now.....even then they wont clear till following Thurs....ridiculous it takes a week to get hold of your money.
bitsy...you know I am with you on the sleeping thing, it is awful....has he got a nightlight? I even need a light on at night after that ghost in our house a couple of years ago:eek:
moliere when I lived in France we used emmental cheese or Cantal which is closest to cheddar. even standing near their cheese made me ill in the supermarket. Sometimes they had cheddar at Leclercs supermarkets.0
