Glad you got it sorted. Sorry you couldn't budge the strut and DIY. Those bolts can be stinkers. They are only tightened to 100 lb or so but they get all the road debris flicked up at them and it's the corrosion bond rather than the torque that makes undoing them difficult. Another time maybe. £130 doesn't sound a bad price. Happy motoring!
