So, even if one could in fact run a marathon in a world-beating time - that would not of itself disqualify you from the mobility component of DLA, if the act of walking caused severe pain or discomfort.
I bet the marathon runner would be denied DLA, the criteria dosnt mean that you will still get HRM if you can run because all marathon runner will be in pain and discomfort, common sence would rule.0 -
I totally messed up the form, I was so emotional at the time, I'd just had a seton placed without any explanation. I was so angry and upset that I just ranted and raved like a lunatic throughout the whole form. I think I was having a bit of a breakdown. I answered the questions honestly but I found the whole process extremely complicated. The DWP told me to claim it, I thought it was a waste of time as I would be well soon, the incontinence started later.0

I think you need to speak to your local CAB or even your MP. You need somebody to come to you and sit down to work through it all with you and to make people listen."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0
