Is that your provisional payments that happens to everyone until their review is done? Mine has dropped too but I was warned on my new award letter last year that they'd be dropping to this. Its on page 5 or 6 after it outlines what your payments are for the current year then explains what they'll be next tax year e.g now.0

I phoned tax credits as 2 payments when into my account and they explain that the payment for £20ish pounds was an underpayment on 2010/2011 and the other payment was my mothly award they did say it was provisional however my non-provisional rate [they explained after i fill in my renewal and it matches m current details] my monthly payment will be up around £10-£15 per month
So they calculated the whole thing and compared to last year [non-provisonal payments] I will get around £2,500 less this year0 -
You could claim child support to make up the short fall if you don't already.*SIGH*0

Sadly on paper my ex gets job seekers allowance so it would be an allowance of £5 per week [which would be fair enough] however since splitting he has fallen in with some 'dodgy' family members growing a certain 'plant' and is making alot more than the £50ish the government thinks he is makin ... so lost cause there0 -
Im not complaining im just saying 'the budget bit back' its a change im going to have to live with hence my :rotfl:at the end of my post ... seriously dont try have a go at me
Sorry, thats not what I meant it to sound like. Its just frustrating listening to people moan about getting cuts in their FREE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT (I.E. the tax payer, i.e. people like me).
Having said that, your intention was clearly not to moan about it, and simply wanted to discuss the situation.
I wish you good luck :T:AI am not a financial expert, and the post above is merely my opinion.:j0
