Cor, Id never let that couple adopt him if I were at the rescue!

Every day at least one person calls one of my dogs (Parson Russell) Harvey since that ad came on. That dog does get a huge amount of work doesnt he, insurance ads, even in Midsommer Murders now.

But, back to your mutt. Wait til you get the dog home and something will click. I like amusing names myself and I cant believe how many Ruby dogs are out there now! Let alone Alfies. But I did love the hefty snorting old English bull dog I saw lumbering to her owner when he called "Princess" pmsl.

Id go for quirky - like Kevin or Patch or Sue, but thats me :)

Heres a dog name site to browse a few thousand :)

PS, Mine are Ralph and Digs (Digs because thats what he kept doing in the rescue and they called him it and we kept it- though we added a second g for a bit of class).

However, Digby may be a nice name for a poodle?

We had a rough collie called Sam, he was a lovely dog and I loved his name. Our second rough collie was called Brandy and our present 5 month old pup (pomeranian/yorkie cross) is called Barney.

We were going to call him Max - but my grandaughter decided on Barney.

    He really suits his name.

    Good luck

    Had one dog called Djinn.

Several cats called - Mac, Murphy, Bobby, Dexy and Newton.

Toy poodles are sooooo cute. I dont usually like small dogs but i make an exception for poodles:)
