Nice! I notice you have them between your raised beds; I read a tip last week that instead of buying bean poles for your runners, simply plant sunflowers beside them and the beans will use the sunflowers for supportmrbadexample wrote: »Red & black ones:

Just a tiny glint of yellow at the top of one of mine! But it's only 4 feet.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

A few of my giants have multiple heads, they say single head on the packet but they have a normal size head at the top then smaller heads further down the stalk/trunk.One has a big head at top and 6 mini heads, think they are mutant.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0

Hands up if your sunflower's taller than you.
:hello:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Measured my son's sunflower yesterday. It is up to 7ft 6". Not bad considering it was planted by a 4yr old. It has a flower head on the top which is not yet open and still shooting up.
Can post a pic if anyone would like to see.0

The two I planted out first are around 5 feet now. I am not sure they are going to grow any more. 2 blooms are fully open, and one of them has 3 or 4 more flower heads.
The two I planted out later are around 4 feet, with flower heads formed but not open.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
