    Hi

I went to Pontins in Prestatyn last year on the free holiday competition. We stayed in a classic apartment and found it to be spotless, and plenty to do there for the children. I just had a call from Pontins telling me about the special offers they are running till 28th Feb - 30% off classic apartments and 50% off budget. Tel 08705331199 and they will check availability. Maybe this will help someone who can't go at the really cheap times.

Like everything else in life, the holiday we took last year was very much what we made of it. We went with open minds as to what to expect and we were very happy with our stay there. My toddler son met Barney , Postman Pat and Jess, and my daughter ( 11, don't tell anyone or her street cred is out the window) met Dennis the Menace ! And she also learned the funniest tonguetwister at one of the shows in the evening : -

One smart fellow, he felt smart,
Two smart fellows, they felt smart,
Three smart fellows, they felt smart
And they all felt smart together !

( That's even difficult to type ! ) I dare you to say it out loud and I guarantee it will make you smile ( and your small children explode with laughter ! ).

Hope you all enjoy your bargain breaks !

  • I booked a holiday back in January, paid the balance four weeks ago and today (4 weeks before we go) I receive a telephone call telling me I have to change the dates of the holiday!! Can't believe it, everything's sorted for the week I booked - dog sitter, work holidays for myself and my mum, school holiday forms handed in etc and my mate changed her hen night cos I was going to be away when she had it. Not impressed a load of hassle I don't need really. Got to call them tomorrow to tell them whether I want to book another week or have a refund!! Want to tell them to shove it but the children would be gutted.

Hi Karen23 do you remember stating this in May 2005?
