Emma_Roids wrote:I booked a holiday back in January, paid the balance four weeks ago and today (4 weeks before we go) I receive a telephone call telling me I have to change the dates of the holiday!! Can't believe it, everything's sorted for the week I booked - dog sitter, work holidays for myself and my mum, school holiday forms handed in etc and my mate changed her hen night cos I was going to be away when she had it. Not impressed a load of hassle I don't need really. Got to call them tomorrow to tell them whether I want to book another week or have a refund!! Want to tell them to shove it but the children would be gutted.
Hi Karen23 do you remember stating this in May 2005?
Incoming Raspberries at your location
:rotfl: :rotfl: I sat reading that thinking 'blimey that's EXACTLY what happened to me a couple of years ago' was about to post that we only ended up going two days earlier and were given £100 pontins pounds to use for food drinks etc....then realised it was MY post!! Had a great week by the way, went again last year and am booked up for July this year. Take it you won't be there :rotfl: many thanks for the raspberries xxxxxxxSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

"Just spoken to them again. I've agreed to change holiday date, but now I can't have the accomodation I wanted!! They've offered me £100 in 'Pontins pounds' but I'm still not happy
I much prefer Butlins but it's a good way to travel and I can't manage the extra cost in getting there unfortunately."
Only posh ladies like Pontins enjoy your holiday Karen23 aka Vicky pollard you deserve it., wish I was there NOT!!!!

Karen23, Kahlil Gibran was among the most important Arabic language authors of the early twentieth century. He also went on to become a famous author and artist in his adopted country, the U.S., especially by virtue of the phenomenal popularity of his 1923 The Prophet he never stayed in Pontins as the enlightened one, he new it was an awful place... There are no Pontins in the US (That is why he went there!).0

Sorry enjoy your holiday I was so worked up due to the hideous time at Pontins "Wall Park", of which I would say must be the worst place on earth for having a nice time, the surrounding area is great, we left early due to it being a place worse than a camp I have lived in, in Bosnia whilst serving in the Army.0 -
As i understand the orignal £60 offer, it was for any grade of accommodation for £60. Just wondering if anyone managed to get a 2-bed club appartment for £60? When i rang they told me these were not part of the offer?
Is this true?
thanks0 -
Its possible they're not part of the new offer, but yes I have a 2 bed club booked for September @ £60 on the original offer. Could only get classic for July though
Keri -x-hey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried
£2 coin pot - £92!0 -
