well harvey, as you didnt give the real ABC part, only you know what that is. So put the plate into the mid database and see if H zero one zero, or HO one zero comes up as an insured car.

Not insured either way an nor does it show up on the VEd site either..0 -

Why are they not insured?
It must be a false plate, or at the very least there has been a big mistake somewhere.
Personally, I wouldn't get a lift with them especially to petrol stations or near any banks. :rotfl:0 -

Try it as H one zero ABC
Unlikely the original car on that H reg is still going
She may have had a zero added my a rogue plate maker for whatever reason.0 -
Why don't you just put the actual number plate up and the make of the car?
It is no big deal really, I could look out of the window and do the same right now for a number of vehicles. This information is freely available to everyone anyway.0 -

One day they'll drive past an ANPR camera and get royally shafted.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

nah, the ANPR will likely switch to automated ticketing soon so whoever actually owns HO10ABC will get shafted instead.0

I didn't think they did "O" as a letter, thought it was only used as a number
Sort of the same as "I" isn't used as a letter, just a number0 -

O is used as a letter, in the current style plates in the first two letters, it makes up the area code for number plates.
Thinking about this it was used in Suffix stlye plates as I had a car with the reg SOF 593M, and with the Prefix style you can get plenty of plates such as L16 MKO, as I have seen this driving around.0 -
I is used on NI cars.
We had a ruck of Astra's woth OIL 1234 type plates.0 -

I is still not used though, only number 1.
Yep, thinking about it, the first Quattro I owned back in the ‘80s was B900 DOF so it must be that “O” was not used as a letter suffix on ABC 123D types or prefix on A123 BCD types.
Sorry for the confusion, these fancy new fangled AB 12 CDE type numbers are way too modern for my aging brain0
