not necessarily. if the shop is in an old building that is unable to be adapted.

the london underground for instance. many stations are inaccessible for wheelchair users.
the law only applys to buildings/places that are able to be adapted but arent, not ones that cant be adapted.

I note from one of your previous posts that you are able to travel.
Thus it seems you do not care about disability discrimination unless it actually affects you.
That is a really disgraceful attitude from someone who is apparently disabled.

I note in that thread that you complain about not being able to get discounts from Ferry operators. Now how would you feel if someone who could not travel came on and and made trite remarks like yours such as
well I can't travel anyway so why should I care?

So if you want support from me for you discounts you know what you can do (visit the newsagents and ask for a hand).

Youve totally lost the plot sunshine.
I would suggest you find another cause to champion as you dont even have a cause here.

By the way.....could you reach up and pass me a cppy of Naughty Nina's nighties please ??:rotfl:

EU items are not duty free.

Well, no, but items commonly brought back from the rest of the EU for personal consumption attract very considerably lower excise duties in certain countries than in the UK, making them an attractive proposition (almost 'Duty Free').

Shock, I have managed to beat the system other people who normally buy beds here in the UK cannot. I did not pay the VAT on my nice new bed from Dreams. Best keep quiet as the rest of the country would like to save on the £600 I did. :money:
  • Hey "The Dissapeared" did you know that fewer disabled people get stopped by customs for drug searches than non disbaled? Plenty of wheelchair users have (eventually) been caught for smuggling drugs though in crutches/walking sticks and inside wheelchairs you know! Not usually by UK customs but by other countries officials.

Disability equality...strip search all disabled travellers?????

As for carrying stuff through customs, actually if items are in YOUR bags labelled with YOUR name a carer IS allowed to carry BOTH your and their "allowances" though.
    Just phone them to check.

It is not really my problem is it.

The point is that disabled people are discriminated against.

Do you accept this or not?

You seem to want to cloud and confuse the issue for some reason.

BY YOUR STUPID LOGIC, DISABLED PEOPLE ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BY NOT BEING ABLE TO BE A FIREMAN OR CLIMB A BIG LADDER WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. GET A GRIP OF REALITY, ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD.:rotfl:
    Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.
  • I still cant reach 'Naughty Ninas Nighties' though. !! :)
Ah well, I'll have to settle for Land Rover Monthly.
