Where is everyone moving their Lloyds Vantage money to?

I'm still deciding on the best home for the £6000 following the upcoming LTSB Vantage changes. I am thinking Santander Flexible ISA, Halifax ISA Direct Reward, or ING Direct ISA.
I had a bad experience with Abbey in 2008 when they messed up the info for ISA transfer thereby much delaying it, so I am a little wary of Santander, despite the best interest for their ISA (and the tracking of the base rate).
I had a Reward ISA until last year and transfers were quick in both directions. I also now have a Reward current account for the £5/month keeping only £1 in it other than when doing the necessary £1000 in/out. To get the extra 0.2% for the ISA it is not clear whether I need complete the Rewards form and post it. Will they in any case look at the account activity and decide it is not my main current account (it isn't).
ING - upside of that is interest is paid monthly, though only 2.96% gross.
ING or Halifax will open quickly and efficiently whereas Santander are not so quick or efficient as I found opening the eSaver 3 even though I already had older online accounts there. But it's transfer outs next year that concern me.0 -
Will be transfering probably all into Santander eSaver (issue 3) which is 3% instant access. Who will want the hassle of only £5000 in the 3% vantage and also having to transfer the minimum £1000 still. Obviously with the eSaver it's only temporarily for a year and then onto another search again.0

Maybe thats why they offered it to me????????????
In same position as you, but on top of 3 Vantages and 1 5% Regular saver I have a 2 year fixed rate ISA paying 2.9% until Nov 2012 (they have a better rate now) with all my Cash ISAs and TESSA capital in it.
They didn't offer me anything!

Well, me, for one.
£15,000 in 3 accounts and no temptation to risk the pain of being with Santander.0 -
What hassle? My 3 will continue to send each other 1k, on the same day each month, by SO, as they have done since I opened them. Only the balance will have changed.Who will want the hassle of only £5000 in the 3% vantage and also having to transfer the minimum £1000 still.
Sounds like more hassle than Vantage.Obviously with the eSaver it's only temporarily for a year and then onto another search again.0 -

Who told you you could not open three? There are some reported instances of this happening when in branch. Best thing is to print off a copy of their T&C's and take them into the branch with you.
Alternatively, try opening the accounts via telephone. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -

This is exactly what I did when I opened my other 2. I went into the branch with their T&C in my pocket. I was told sorry you can only have one account and I then showed them their T&C.
They asked me why I wanted 3 accounts and I said to help with budgeting and then they opened the other 2.0 -
I opened my first online, then two more in branch, as Jonbvn says, see here - http://www.lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/vantage_ts_and_cs.asp:BTW How have some people on here managed to get three vantage accounts. You can have a maximum of 3 accounts with Vantage.0
