    Morning all

Wet, wild and windy here this morning, where did the sunshine go?

DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Dinner last night was fish, chips/new potatoes, beans/veg - enjoyed by us all. Boys weren't too impressed as I decided over the weekend that from last night we would be sitting at the dining table for meals and not in front of the tv. DH has a meeting tonight and will go straight from work, and DS1 has Cadets so have taken lasagne out of the freezer to defrost for his and my dinner, DS2 says he wants cheese on toast.

Work should hopefully be less busy today, was hectic yesterday, am opening with another colleague so will be able to get away earlier tonight to get the time back.

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    Good morning peeps,
Happy Birthday uolypool hope you have a lovely day :bdaycake:
Grey and windy here. Thought the washing was going to blow off the line yesterday - it was horizontal most of the time. Still, it dried really well.

Going to visit MIL today so will be taking her out for lunch. That will take most of the day so no OS happening here.

Right, need to shower and get going. 2 hour drive there and that's if there's no holdup:(

Anyhoo, Happy Tuesday folks, hugs to those that want or need,
    Cheers m'dears, Silver x

  • Morning all,
A bit wet and blowy here. Busy day again, got DS2 at home as he was slightly sick after his tea yesterday so he's off till Thurs. He will have to accompany me to the garage to leave the car for new brake discs and pads then back home to, hopefully have not missed delivery of the new mobile. Then it will be more kitchen painting whilst my mum visits.
Then i have to somehow cancel my new sky contract cos i managed to get a better deal out of virgin- i tried yesterday but the womans pc crashed and she never rang me back- might be easier to stick a letter in the post. I also need to post off Ds2 mainstream secondary school placement as it appears i legally have to apply. I am not looking foward to that in the slightest, but it's best i get it in the post so i don't lose the damn letter.
Thanks JackieG for the Edinburgh info- that camera thing looks really good and it looks like i can get in free as a carer. I had dismissed it originally. I'm gonna print loads of maps of today and bus routes so we don't get (too) lost.
Anyway good days to all and Tigerfeet you are inspiring me to crack on with it.

Busy yesterday so didnt get on here had to get car repaired luckily it was under warrenty so no charge then off to pick up a de-humidifier i won on ebay then DS needed a haircut and car needed a new tyre so a spend in the end
Ds is on exclusion still today but hass to go in for 1 hour for a pe practical exam School called and i asked about his trip next week and they said he can still go as the deputy head said that he had been severly provoked into his actions so all is not lost and they seem to have realised how hard he tried not to do it his form tutor rang on sunday to tell me how hard he had tried over the past year to keep out of trouble and she was along with a couple of other teachers going to see the head to speak up for him
    Hugs to Candy

    Hi everyone,

I have to go into work today for a couple of hours to write the minutes of the meeting i took last night and that's it, the final thing for work. My replacement had a holiday booked this week which is why I said I would go in and do the meeting (they're not paying me).

On top of that I need to do the living room, today's pick on the flylady thread. I feel a bit pants but if I feel better I shall try to go swimming this afternoon. It depends how the day goes.

Have a good day and happy birthday Uolypool.
