Primark in Dublin was Penney's store, same shop, just different name. Same products too. When I was in the States in 2003 I visited a store called J.C. Penney's. I'm not convinced it was related to Primark though, the clothes weren't cheap at all.
The only place I got cheap clothes in America was Wal-Mart. They were fantastic quality though, eight years on, every piece of outer wear I bought is still going strong.

J.C. Penney's is not related to Primark, it's a department/catalogue store in the states.

The US doesn't really have a primark equivilent.

Picked up boys and girls in Bristol yesterday! Kids love their snugglies each winter!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Savvy Shopper!
My 13 y/o DS wanted the fleecy mens baby gro's so his Nan bought him the grey camo one this weekend, also in Bristol. Love the pj's youre talking about, I had to check to see if the kids ones were still £4 cos that is such a great price and even better when you get them for half price in the sale.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver! Xmas Saver!
Had a bit of a spend in primark Corby at the weekend.

A lovely purple/orange skirt with lupins on for £5.00, was £18 I think... Sizing was WAY off, hence so many reduced I guess. I'm usually a 16 but had to buy the 20!!! Oh well, it's a lovely skirt.

Also had the full range of peacock jewellery reduced, I got the huge necklace, headband and broach for 50p each!

Am glad to see the winter jumper dresses back - had the blue snowflake last year.... Now have a grey reindeer too :0)
Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!
  • Went into the Newcastle store today and had a rummage through the £5 sale rails. There were quite a few palazzo trousers at the end of the rails (some in really bright colours) around £14 and none were marked down on the price labels. I found a lovely pair in a dark silvery grey, really nice material and asked one of the assistants if she'd check the price for me. Was hoping they might have some reduction so was well pleased when the till said £5!
There was the usual long queue but when you've grabbed a bargain you don't mind waiting. They're definitely my best buy in recent months and will get plenty of wear on nights out as they are dressy and look quite expensive.
