    Me too - from Uphall!!

The only drawback is everyone in West Lothian will be wearing the same clothes. :(

    December 15th it opens!! :j

Yep thats true but at least Livingston (and Bathgate!!) are now getting some new shops. It will hopefully help things along as to be honest the shops were getting a little dire.

I love fleecy PJs from Primark so I can't wait. Not so much the clothes (esp trousers) as the sizing is pretty hit or miss :(

The new one in Princes Street, Edinburgh is due to open sometime this month....although they've been saying that for months now  .....but I won't hold my breathe, what with Princes Street being dug up yet AGAIN, to repair the still new-unused-and-not-yet completed tram lines!!!!!:mad::mad:

I don't know of ANYONE who was asked if they wanted a tram in Edinburgh!!!! I'm REALLY p!!!$$ed off that this will probably cause even longer delays to the new Primark opening ( as well as the waste of MILLIONS of £'s spent on this..the trams...venture!!! (Sorry for the rant!!)

  • Apologies if this was posted before. I picked up an Opia ceramic roller hair brush (for use with hairstyling, works with hairdryer to create curls, rolls etc) a fairly small barrel, was £1.50 and it works very well.
Regarding the underwear, the best buys imo are not the cotton 5 for £2.50 pairs but the seamless stretch synthetic ones at 3 for £5. These are soooo comfortable and wear really well. I've got a dozen pairs and unlike a lot of Primark stuff, the sizing is very generous.
I wonder if anyone else with girls in the family who don't like pink have a problem finding Primark clothes? My 10 yo DGD (size 12/13) hates pink and getting Primark gear for her is such a challenge.
Picked up some lovely T-shirts for children at £1 in Darlington Primark. Good range of colours and sizes
Have to say I'm disappointed with the selection of jewellery at the moment. I bought some gorgeous Murano style glass pendants a few years ago that are indistinguishable from the real thing. Would love to see these again.
I'm visiting Glasgow for the day Saturday - am sooo tempted to pop in to the main store!

They have some gorgeous really thick microfleece PJs again this year, niece took hers up to in-laws in Inverness when it was the middle of the big freeze, these were a life-saver. I'm up North too and looking forward to wearing mine. Also bought some very pretty brushed cotton pjs that are ideal for cooler autumn nights. (Darlington store.)

I agree, the seamless underwear is marvelous - so comfy and lasts YEARS. And they don't bunch up etc.

I think the problem with the normal underwear is the body of the pants is made of a stretchy material, but the trimmings are usually NOT stretchy, causing a problem and them to split.

On topic I got a gorgeous floral mac type coat at the weekend. It wasn't reduced but was £18 - which was very cheap especially as a lot of the other coats were £25.
  • I'm probably the only one, but I wear my fleecy pjs all year round! (Just the bottoms though). I do look forward to wearing them lots on cold winter nights.
And from Saturday I will finally be within walking distance of a Primark, after having lived at least an hours drive away! So excited :)
