Don't forget that as the voucher value is capped at £20, to maximise your DTDing you want to aim for £20 ;)

Anything above the £20 limit costs you, so far you've cost yourself £10, which would have given you a £20 voucher

I had a perfect basket planned for Saturdays shop which came to exactly £20.

Double checked the prices on Sat morn to find I had to scrap one item as Tesco had lowered price and Magners cider wouldn't scan so ended up with a DTD of £16 ish

Totally forgot to include the salmon which would have been only real food on list , and expect it will have disappeared(from DTD) by the
time I next go to Mr T's

Yes it's in a box so that's ok.
On the receipt does it says top rump?

No just beef joint but if you go on asda all there joints are now £8.48 anyway so same price as Tesco so i dont expect DTD now
    thanks

Scanning at £4.12 @ Mr Ts now.... Still a good DTD though!

I got one at 6pm and scanned 6.xx, I think the 750ml one is 4.12 so maybe you got the wrong one scanned?

I bought one today £8 plus but doesnt have that barcode - couldnt see any with that one so I have probably bought wrong size. Mine says just says Beef jnt on receipt

From my experience of buying a bit that size on Saturday, I dont think it will work. We think the weight has to be over 1.1kilo

By the way for anyone wanting to know if a Metro store works for DDT why don't you go in buy a choc bar or a packet of crisps
and then input details on Tesco price checker?Easy to know where to shop or not after:beer:
Has anyone had the Filippo Berio Extra virgin olive oil 1 litre confirmed please?
    I need a cupboard full:D
I am so tired what with all this DDt running around different Tescos, trying to find a nice cashier, smiling nicely and making small talk to get them distracted, getting free quantumatic from asda and sainsburys, sorting out cupboards and frige and freezer.......I am knackered :rotfl:
my two year old gets home from nursery and wants to help put the shopping away she has so much fun
    long live DDT:T
by the way when I did my DDT today the cashier panicked called the supervisor who looked at the voucher went away, came back and told me to give her the Asda receipt to which I answered which Asda receipt?I shopped at Tesco.Anyway she went away again, got the manager who called Customer Services and everything was okay.

I know the attitude of some Tesco staff is poisonous, but the deal is pretty great!:D;):rotfl:

Just got back from my local store to pick up 4 bottles of Wolf Blass Chardonnay for me and my sister (2 each) and a loaf of Kingsmill on 2 vouchers for £18.56 and £19.86, the SA said wow how did you get these, thats amazing.

I explained that I'd bought stuff that just 'happened' to be twice the price in Tesco as it was in Asda and she grinned, shouted top of her voice across to her mate who just happened to be that shifts supervisor 'Eh look at this, she's found an ace way to scam that price difference thingy'

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Well, I've had a lovely afternoon in Tesco, NOT....!

I went in today to spend my second voucher. This one was for £18.88 and was from a receipt from last Monday.

My shopping last Monday was partially paid for with a £10.18 voucher.

The store absolutely completely REFUSED to take my voucher, because it was generated from a receipt that had had a DTD on it.

I telephoned customer service, they telephoned the store to say they had to take the voucher.

The store STILL refused to take it, and a duty manager came to see me. She said it was store specific and that they had put a blanket ban on all vouchers if the receipt they had been generated from had been paid for at all with a DTD voucher.

I phoned customer services again, they yet again agreed she was wrong. He spoke to her for about quarter of an hour. She argued with him and still absolutely refused to take it. She said they'd decided and that was that. I am totally lost as to what to do!

I have of course emailed tesco, but am not holding my breath for a reply after reading of others' experiences on here.

    Not happy. :(

I do hope that some senior Mr T and Mr A exec's are actually monitoring this kind of report.

I know this whole farce from Mr T has made me realise I do have options I dont have to shop in the 1 place.

I used to work in the Motor trade,as an industry we were always being highlighted for poor customer service issues and alledgedly shoddy work, etc.

If staff ever treated any of my customers in the way that SA/managers/MR T are undertaking and failing to respond to this promotions short comings I would have been having serious disciplinery discussions (me included)...

TBH i dont think these short comings are restricted to Mr T alone, I am sure there is equally bad horror stories from all the supermarkets.

    rant over.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Well receipts received yesterday from Saturday and today received yesterdays - I now only input 2 receipts per email address and that so far, touchwood, seems to have solved the problem. I havent been smart enough to make sure I only re-submit the new DTD receipt using the email address I got the original DTD voucher into - Im sure they "could"marry this up eventually but I cant see how they can marry a voucher used up to the coupon used on DTD within the 24 hours in which we are getting our vouchers emailed through. Hadnt been my experience so far anyway. Sticking to cash no CC too - except today when I had to use clubcard credit card but that was only 1 shop and used no old DTD voucher on that did a brand new shop. Fingers crossed todays come tomorrow!
Id like to try the fresh meat for DTD but Im scared that Ill pick the wrong one up!!!!
