Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I called today about 2 missing transactions, lady was very nice and asked I had kept trying them, I told her yes every day since the 7th.
She advised that there are sometimes vouchers stuck in the system and to leave them till about Thursday and try again, if they are still not there then to phone again.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

I have a couple of Betty Crocker pancake mixes with the 30p off voucher. If I use this towards shopping, how will it affect the DTD for the pancake mix when Tesco is £1.49 and ASDA 25p? Sorry if I' being thick. Can't work it out in my head!

Using a coupon makes no difference to the DTD - they still compare £1.49 against 25p :) hth

Well, I've had a lovely afternoon in Tesco, NOT....!

I went in today to spend my second voucher. This one was for £18.88 and was from a receipt from last Monday.

My shopping last Monday was partially paid for with a £10.18 voucher.

The store absolutely completely REFUSED to take my voucher, because it was generated from a receipt that had had a DTD on it.

I telephoned customer service, they telephoned the store to say they had to take the voucher.

The store STILL refused to take it, and a duty manager came to see me. She said it was store specific and that they had put a blanket ban on all vouchers if the receipt they had been generated from had been paid for at all with a DTD voucher.

I phoned customer services again, they yet again agreed she was wrong. He spoke to her for about quarter of an hour. She argued with him and still absolutely refused to take it. She said they'd decided and that was that. I am totally lost as to what to do!

I have of course emailed tesco, but am not holding my breath for a reply after reading of others' experiences on here.

    Not happy. :(

REALLY NOT SURE WHERE TESCO FIND THEIR STAFF?!?

It amazes me the stories on here about how utterly rude they are.
If the store manager rejected someone in CS telling them what to do then they should be fired. Appalling service.

Personally, I would forget about the email as they seem to copy & paste the same crap to everyone! Ring HEAD office tomorrow, explain and tell them exactly what you feel about the manager! They will no doubt be very apologetic and you may get a moneycard or something as a "sorry".
If you ever find yourself in that situation again, ring the head office (as others have done) and they will have to take orders from them.
I would love to see one of them squirm when someone from HO tells them to accept it :rotfl::rotfl:

It really amazes me how these stores generate their own rules.

TESCO - If you are reading this (which is highly likely) .. TRAIN YOUR STAFF. Send an email to the manager of each store telling them EXACTLY what to do and the consequences if customers have a bad time with a 'trout'! TAKE NOTE!

Sorry to 'beef' on about the beef but I am trying to get the right one as the one I bought on Saturday was 'NA'.

Picking bits of info from other posts, am I right in thinking the following?

1- The correct beef joint begins with barcode no 02365

2- It needs to cost approx £10-12 due to the £/kg

    3- Silverside doesn't work

4- It is called British beef Topside/Top rump joint @ £8.48/kg

    TIA
I bought one today £8 plus but doesnt have that barcode - couldnt see any with that one so I have probably bought wrong size. Mine says just says Beef jnt on receipt

My son had a similar experience today at the Westwood X store - the SA told him that they had been instructed to refuse all DTD vouchers "because some people are printing off duplicate/triplicate etc vouchers". He went to CS desk and eventually someone came over that knew how the scheme worked and told the SA what to do and what to check for (which my son had already told them!). And this is the biggest store in Thanet as well! I hope this isn't going to be the end of the promotion - anybody have any idea what to do to combat future arguments at the checkout? Should I send off an email and if so to who?

At least he managed to get the right sort of lamb after all that!

On the Bar code i'm assuming 009650 is the price so if i get beef with the first part of the code 236586 it will be DTD is this correct ?

Its definitely the 023658 that's the important part.
