Just got back from my local store to pick up 4 bottles of Wolf Blass Chardonnay for me and my sister (2 each) and a loaf of Kingsmill on 2 vouchers for £18.56 and £19.86, the SA said wow how did you get these, thats amazing.

I explained that I'd bought stuff that just 'happened' to be twice the price in Tesco as it was in Asda and she grinned, shouted top of her voice across to her mate who just happened to be that shifts supervisor 'Eh look at this, she's found an ace way to scam that price difference thingy'

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I had a member of staff ask me how to do it today? It's not something you can explain in 30 secs at a check out.

just to let you know I went over the £100 limit and I got caught!

Tesco customer services emailed me and said that I would not get my vouchers as my household had already received £100 in vouchers. I used my clubcard each time and the same email so it was my own fault. I phoned cs and was told that if I resubmit the receipt details in May I will get the vouchers then.

I have now entered another receipt which has a different clubcard number registered at a different address and used a different email address so I'll let you know if I receive a voucher for that transaction.

The limit is £100 per household aka email address. I don't know if you can re-enter that receipt this month but with a different email address? It would be worth knowing.

It is interesting to note that all is not lost though and you could enter this same receipt next month from what you have been told. Which means that ... there is no need to spend the 5th voucher on a normal shop and start next month with your £20 cold hard cash, but you can wait, spend voucher 5 as the "£20 starter" next month and go round again ...

To summarise, the £100 limit is per email address (household) not by the actual voucher (as demonstrated by the fact that some people are hitting the limit on the 5th not 6th voucher where Tesco has been £10.01+ more expensive on a shop or two, and therefore the voucher is capped at £20 but the excess is being calculated into the £100 total.
