absolutely ridiculous that other people are getting their vouchers back from sunday shops today?! Obviously the system doesn't work, how "processing" can go array is beyond me, it's a computer system not a conveyor belt in china. Won't be wasting my time doing this again GRRRRRR
Perhaps particular computer servers at Tesco Kingdom take longer to process receipts. I submitted four receipts on Saturday afternoon and my DTDs came back Sunday tea time. I again submitted a further three (after DTD shopping with the new vouchers) yesterday (Sunday) afternoon and my DTD vouchers came back this afternoon.0 -
General
We have the right to withdraw or amend the Tesco Price Check at any time without notice.
Where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim or one abusing the spirit of the Price Check scheme is being made, we reserve the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Price Check Voucher.
And no I do not work for Tesco I just feel that this is on the tesco Price check T's and C's webpage. so whatever they feel is "abusing the spirit of the price check scheme" is open to interpretation I would think.
HOWEVERFair Use
Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at £20.
Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.
So you could go in there 10 days in a row with vouchers for £10 (total £100) or 5 days with a voucher for £20 and that is classified as fair use as in within "the spirit of the price check scheme" so that would contradict the 1st quote. what do you think.
Also the receipt just states that you paid with a "coupon" this could be any coupon not just DTD.0 -
Really?
I must have missed that then all I did was [STRIKE]argue [/STRIKE]talk about beef this afternoon :rotfl:
My silverside came back N/A
If I get time when the thread quietens down later I will look and see if I can find the confirmation post.
Whether the poster got their topside and silverside mixed up I don't know but I was surprised when I saw the post as I had read it was a no go.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

He went to CS desk and eventually someone came over that knew how the scheme worked and told the SA what to do and what to check for (which my son had already told them!). And this is the biggest store in Thanet as well! I hope this isn't going to be the end of the promotion - anybody have any idea what to do to combat future arguments at the checkout? Should I send off an email and if so to who?
At least he managed to get the right sort of lamb after all that!
Strange, my voucher was accepted there no probs today about 3pm. as have the last 3. Must be the individual on the till and not the store.0 -
Sorry to 'beef' on about the beef but I am trying to get the right one as the one I bought on Saturday was 'NA'.
Picking bits of info from other posts, am I right in thinking the following?
1- The correct beef joint begins with barcode no 02365
2- It needs to cost approx £10-12 due to the £/kg
3- Silverside doesn't work
4- It is called British beef Topside/Top rump joint @ £8.48/kg
TIA
That's about right but some have been confirmed around the £9 mark. So I would say between £9 and £12 Not trying to be picky but some people may only have £9 joints in their store.0 -
