i've had 2 little boys, have spent a total of 16 hours in labour and have had an emergency c-section, and in all honesty i would rather do it all again than have toothache!
....at least in labour you get free drugs! :T0 -

I'd never had toothache before either and jokingly used to rubbish claims that it's one of the worst kind of pains you can experience, but it genuinely is excrutiating. It must be if I'm actually looking forward to the dentist ripping it out of my skull!
A shame that the Arm & Hammer Enamel Care Sensitve isn't DTD (it is B1G2F £4 T, £2.98 A, so still £2!)

I was sorely tempted but seriously the kids would badger me for them all the time and I can get better value from other things (like lamb and cleaning stuff) from my limits. If I could drive, I'd probably be buying them up in droves but as it stands I'll leave them to everyone else!;)
Sorry my mistake, been trying to do too much math tonight. Luckily my eldest is only 3 so won't pester me too much when she has a normal one again, it'll be forgotten about soon enough, and needed a bit of encouragement to brush her own teeth, this seems to have done the trick. At least until the novelty wears off. I have 2 more for when this one runs out but they will be birthday and christmas pressies (mean mummy...) so she will see them as treats.Mummy to beautiful 5yr old girl and a gorgeous 1yr old boy:D0 -

loobylou232 wrote: »I was just going to mention the dentist! I agree with you, toothache is THE worst pain, relentless and worse than childbirth because at least you get something at the end of that. Have you got antibiotics for the abcess?
Oooh, I can self-indulge some more!
Yes to antibiotics. I'm on (daily) these prescribed by the dentist:
Amoxycillin x 3
Metrosomethingorother x 3
And my own pill-popping includes:
Paracetamol x 8
Ibuprofen (600mg) x 3
Co-Codamol x 2
This keeps the pain to a manageable level, so I can go DTDing! Bloody Tesco. Bloody tooth. Bloody DTD.
I'm so miserable!< not me.

Totally agree! Even though my fastest labour was 4hrs I would do that before toothache any day, even though my second was 2hrs35min and non-stop contractions.
I hope the toothache eases up xMummy to beautiful 5yr old girl and a gorgeous 1yr old boy:D0 -
