Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Eek
Never had toothache but I sympathise
It's awful and I know I'm self-indulging but it's triggered by sweet, cold and hot stuff - so basically everything! Otherwise it's now just a constant low-level pain. It's coming out on Wednesday, assuming the pain has subsided.
I'd never had toothache before either and jokingly used to rubbish claims that it's one of the worst kind of pains you can experience, but it genuinely is excrutiating. It must be if I'm actually looking forward to the dentist ripping it out of my skull!10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
£6 profit, I made it out to. I was sorely tempted but seriously the kids would badger me for them all the time and I can get better value from other things (like lamb and cleaning stuff) from my limits. If I could drive, I'd probably be buying them up in droves but as it stands I'll leave them to everyone else!;)LittleMissMPB wrote: »With DTD it's a free Toothbrush and £10 profit

Beats Labour pains I reckon..........................................................................;)
Heads for cover.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
So my shop today consisted of
12 bottles of pre made Cow and Gate growing up Milk - £0.46 vs £0.35 = £0.22 back per bottle (very, very useful to us due to the nursery).
A bag of Gala Apples - £1.47 vs £1.00 = £0.96 back (tomorrow I shall steam them, blend them down and they shall be used to add natural flavour to our little ones morning porridge - awesome).
A 440g jar of Hellmanns Light Mayo - £1.75 vs £1.00 = £1.50 back (the missus likes it on her chips and we ran out on Wednesday - I don't).
2 bottles of Grants Whiskey 35cl bottles - £8.79 each vs 2 for £12 = £11.16 back (step fathers birthday present sorted).
So all things that I needed - not even DTD items bought for the sake of it (on this occasion). Spend £26 and will get £16 back. Very happy with that. 70cl of whiskey alone would normally cost the £10, so to get the rest for nothing really helps out.
Also picked up a couple of pre-ordered Jade coloured towels while I was in (there are other thread about this) - not bad at all. A good DTD day for me.0 -

I was just going to mention the dentist! I agree with you, toothache is THE worst pain, relentless and worse than childbirth because at least you get something at the end of that. Have you got antibiotics for the abcess?0 -
